A lovely welcome from the Staff. The pub is cosy & well furnished. 5 adults & a toddler ate lunch here. All our meals were delicious. The portions were large but Staff very happy to box stuff up to take home. There is a nice outside seating area for the warmer weather.
Visited today for mothers day lunch. We had the 3 courses. Everything was cooked to perfection. Very friendly efficient staff. Also a lovely gesture as we were leaving a potted primrose. I would definitely recommend and return.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. A good selection on the menu including vegetarian dishes. Normally there are 2-3 real ales. There is a lounge and seperate bar area. There is also a large outside paved seating area. Car park to front and rear.

It was my sons 21st birthday so we booked to mark the occasion. Food was fab, staff were so friendly & the atmosphere was great.
New management, a good clean and lick of paint have made the pub a very enjoyable relaxing village pub again. The beer, wine and spirits selection has been increased, and by all accounts the food is very good although iv yet to try it. Edit: iv now had a few meals here all of which have been very good, I especially liked they Sunday lunch.
Found a table for 2 of us as a walk in. Lovely food and pleasant friendly staff, definitely call again
The food was excellent and the atmosphere brilliant . The service from staff was outstanding.
We have visited this pub many times. Never disappoints. Meals are excellent and well priced. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Family run and very child friendly. Now doing a half/ half menu. Had half parmo and half pasta. Brought parmo home! Highly recommended.
4 of us went for lunch today. Steak and Ale pie was outstanding. Packed with the tenderest beef and tasted delicious. Staff very pleasant. Altogether a great experience will certainly return, great price too.
