Found this pub by accident when we took a wrong turn! What a great find, the pub was buzzing at 5pm on a Friday. Love a pub with a great atmosphere. We ate here and the food was delicious and not expensive. I was told the Sunday lunch is amazing so will be making a return trip.
I feel the need to mention The Blue Bell & their staff following our visit today. We stumbled upon this pub in Bishopton for Sunday lunch when we were passing through the village looking for somewhere to eat on the off chance we could get a Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly & the food was lovely. It reminded me of proper home cooked dinners from family meals gone by. What a great find! We look forward to coming back to sample more from the menu. Todays Sunday Roast followed by rhubarb crumble & custard just hit the spot. Thank you
Tried the Sunday lunch and it was the nicest i had , especially the massive Yorkshire because they’re always my favourite. Lush, homely atmosphere as well. Cant wait to go back :
We have been going for Sunday dinner quite a few times recently. It's always delicious and the staff are so lovely.
Me and the wife has had some beautiful meals, the food was hot and very tasty, the pub is very clean and friendly, we will be going back for more, well recommended must try it
This place is a little hidden gem. We have been almost weekly since finding it. Sunday lunches are fantastic. Lovely and fresh and home cooked. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the pub has a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
What a gem.Pleasant friendly welcome in this traditional pub.Beautiful Sunday Dinner Gravy was amazing all home cooked food Portions very good Not too much either Just right Good quality food Relaxed atmosphere. Selection of puddings which my husband and our two friends ordered They were not disappointed Drinks both soft and alcoholic during our stay Total bill for four excellant Could not wish for more great food wonderful atmosphere friendly down to earth staff and value for money Definitely be going back .Five stars
This place is definitely value for money. 2 courses for £10. We had Sunday lunch and I'm happy to say it doesn't disappoint. The service was excellent and friendly.
Homely with coal fires,good food,big tellys for the footie.will get a warm welcome from kev and sonia.
A proper pub, warm and inviting, tastefully decorated and updated, very popular. Great hosts and friendly locals. Very good food but booking necessary for Sunday lunches and 'specials' nights because always sold out.
