My family has been with this surgery for many years, and we have always received the help we needed, along with patience and kindness.nLast week, I was seen by Dr. Chong, who examined me thoroughly, listened carefully, and addressed all my worries and questions. She was brilliant—both caring and professional.nThe receptionists were exceptionally friendly and helpful, patiently explaining everything about my prescription.nI’m truly grateful for their hard work and dedication.
Unbelievable attitude from reception staff 27 minutes on hold the no phone appointments. It's not life threatening it's no an emergency but YES IT IS. Cavalier attitude literally huffing when challenged and REFUSING assistance the NHS in 2025 specifically the GP practices are an absolute joke. It's not just numbers guys it's peoples lives your blasé attitude towards service is absolutely disgusting
The doctors are really good but unfortunately let down buy several of the reception staff, several are rude and very abrupt with their replys and I strongly believe they have taken far to many patients on at the practice they don't have enough doctors to cover the amount of patients they have was told it would be 2 months wait to see my doctor but I could have a phone call appointment if I phoned at 8am even though I needed to see my doctor wasn't given any other option it's a shame used to be the best docs around now seems to be struggling to cope
Been registered for just over a year. Never actually seen or spoken to a Dr here. Really shocked when I was told a new patient appt wasn’t necessary, no need for previous records, and just make an appt if I’m sick! What happened to regular wellness checks in order to maintain good health or catch things that are developing early. Was recently hospitalised for 4 days and no follow up from the surgery! In the clinics I’ve worked at we would always give a call to check on patients discharged from the hospital. Currently in need of blood work as it’s been a few years since levels were checked and I need to keep an eye on certain things and symptoms have worsened in the past couple of months. Called last week and was told to call at 8am the next morning to make an appointment to talk with the Dr by phone. I tried to explain the reasoning, previous medical history, recommendation from my previous Dr.I asked if I could just make an appointment now since I was already on the phone with her and I start work at 8am at the hospital, she didn’t sound happy, like she just wanted to end the call quickly but I had questions. She scheduled a phone appointment for this morning, I asked to clarify the time but was told “the morning”. Again in the previous clinics where I’ve been a patient or where I’ve worked, a patient could put these requests to the nurse who forwards it to the Dr for approval, an appointment wasn’t usually necessary unless the dr had specific questions or concerns. It cut down on the drs time. Also telephone or video appointments were give an actual appointment time. Anyway this morning, despite working in theatre at the hospital I made myself available for the Drs call. By 1:30 I needed to assist with a surgery and the Dr had not called. After we finished surgery I see that they tried to call at 3pm I was told the call would be in the morning, it was a little before 5 and I tried to call the clinic only to get the message that the clinic is closed even though they are supposed to be open until 6pm. I’ve been away from the NHS for a number of years and I know things have changed and there’s cutbacks but this is shocking. And 8 min appts?? I’m now looking for a new practice.
