I wouldn't even give this review 1 star but in order to provide a review I have to pick one. Absolute NIGHTMARE trying to get repeat prescription...called in 10mins prior to repeat prescription line closing to only be put on hold for 15 minutes and be told that the lines were now closed and I would have to use the online service. Repeat prescription line is only open 10 till 2pm daily, not idea as a shift worker!!! I tried on line after registering to be able to do that, and because I've not ordered my repeat online before the system wouldn't let me order anything. Back to call I went to be met by the same obnoxious receptionist who constantly talked over the top of me, ...didn't want to hear what I was talking about and tried to get off the lime. The medications needed are not medication you can stop taking. Yet again another call to the surgery had me waiting 10minutes before the same woman answered the call and yet again as I was trying to explain how their online system wasn't working...she continues to talk over the top of me wouldn't listen to anything I was saying and told me there wasn't anything she would do as I missed the prescription line and told me how she was able to do it herself I had to ask her several time to stop talking over the top of me and now I'm waiting on them contacting me back by the end of the day to see if I can get a prescription.... absolute nightmare. Will be lodging a complaint and moving surgeries.
The staff here bent over backwards to solve a prescription issue I’d been having for more than 6 months. They’ve always scheduled me promptly, and have been extremely kind. Thank you!!
they bent over backwards to make sure I got my prescription while I was away, they even called the GP in the place I was staying - in the Borders - to make sure everything was set up and ok. The reception staff could not have been more helpful! So very very unlike the staff in Kelso Medical Practice who straight up refused to give me the prescription I needed despite Charleston sending them every piece of info they needed. Good to know I traded up! :P
Apparently their prescription ordering line only works part time 10am till 2pm. The idiocy of this is mind blowing. All pretty much in keeping with having No Health Service and the erosion of health care in the UK. I can confidently say that I am no longer in favour of a publicly owned health service. Shambles. Let's hope the old man doesn't die over the weekend as he is out of heart pills.
I registered here a year ago after moving into the area, dr Cameron has been fantastic, very proactive, the nurses are brilliant, reception staff courteous
I've been a patient here since I was born, it used to be a small practice in Neilston Road and the care was second to none, unfortunately this isn't the case now, theres been a few times over recent years that I've contemplated putting a complaint in but didn't bother, what's the point,GP,s know best. My worst experience was trying to get HRT,I was treated as though I was time wasting. This must be the worst practice in Paisley in terms of patient care and follow up service
Delete the star. Surgery phoned to let me know I have a heart check up appointment next week. Pardon? Your heart disease check up. I don't have heart disease. I get an annual stroke check up. Well an appointment has been made for next week. Maybe they can see into the future. Confidencr inspiring.
I have been using this surgery for years, and have found it to be very reliable and professional, it is very busy, as most surgeries are these days, and a small wait must be expected. I have had 2 main doctors throughout my time here, one retired sadly, and was excellent, the new doctor mentioned quite harshly below has been nothing but caring, dedicated and professional to me. The surgery is not perfect What is? as the 5 stars I gave would suggest but I had to give it 5 stars to combat the extremely poor 1 star ratings. As we all know poor experiences are more likely to be recorded than the excellent services provided by the surgery. Realistically it is 3 -> 4 stars for the surgery And 4 -> 5 stars for the 2 doctors mentioned above.
Been trying to get treatment for my bfs and doctor Willis says says she won't be back till next week,,I could be still sitting here still with suicide thoughts as I'm not getting right treatment that I am ENTITLED to...thinking of changing doctors as there saying its a R.d.s I should be speaking to who keep referring me bk to your surgery. I'm not happy with the lack of empathy I got. Promised a phonecall back ....still waiting...didn't want to write this but getting fed up being passed around when I have a serious condition..I need treatment ASAP.fell I'm being neglected. Really upset at surgery
Very rude reception staff and generally the practice has no interest in helping its patients.
