Honestly listening to the self entitled people leaving reviews. “I missed I call and had to wait 50mins to get another call” don’t miss the call then take responsibility for your own healthcare you knew the doctor was calling you.. you are not the only patient there are thousands. These people are turning up to work every day to help you. The Scottish government have let the NHS down so if you want to complain go see your MP.. pretty sure you will wait longer to see one of them. Thank you to all the staff here. There are a lot of people who know how hard you work and how stressful this is. Was in a few days ok and was disgusted at the way the staff were being spoken to. I have always been treated with kindness and respect at the surgery. Thank you for doing an amazing unappreciated job
Speaking on behalf of my partner Have to wait 3 weeks on a call back or 4 weeks for a face to face this isn't how a GP Surgery should run cannot believe they are this busy.Most reviews are from last year COVID has subsided why are we still waiting so long on appointment. Trying to get by reception to speak to a doctor is in unprofessional.
Reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Every time you call. They never get prescriptions right. And also once gave my prescription to a junkie. The police got involved and got the culprit not even an apology from the reception staff. Doctors and nurses are all great if you can get past the better qualified reception staff!
I have been a patient at this practice since I was a child. These day's however the practice has went right down hill as far as seeing patient's. I had phoned to speak to a doctor on the phone about my 15 month old baby. I was then in queue position 1 for about 6 and a half minutes to then have someone just put the phone down on me. I then phoned straight back and spoke to a receptionist, to say I would like to speak to a doctor to get some advice, the nearest available appointment for a phone call back from a doctor was over a week away. As much as my request is not an emergency and my child is not unwell as such, I find this utterly ridiculous that it will take over a week before I can get a doctor to speak to me on the phone. This is extremely poor on the surgery's part. Better management of patients and how they are dealt with is required. Absolute poor show from the consulting rooms.
Trying to get to speak to a Dr is challenging, miss a call you have to wait another up to 50 mins to get through to go through the same process- the process is broken and poor customer experience. In the end, I had a telephone consultation a week later as they didn’t have scope to fit me in. Managed to get to see the Dr, rushed experience. I do get the impression it’s all about stats and micromanagement. Been given diagnosis but no further information or leaflets about my condition provided to me- had to carry out my own research. I have applied to move to another practice
5 star health care service. Positive points of the consulting rooms GP Service. . Spotless Surgery . Polite staff . Efficient staff . Prioritise high risk patients . Phone appointments same day .Pre advance bookable appointments. .online Service to suit all disabilities . Online repeat prescription facility 24/ to suit all life schedules . . Highly qualified doctors. I have lived all over Scotland since a young child. I have Been a patient of over 35 practices. Reception staff go that extra mile to make sure the paitent is happy they take extra care and time when helping patients over the phone and online. Professional upmarket practise. Doctors are highly qualified. Friendly and most of all they care . A The atmosphere within the consulting rooms Practice is family orientated friendly and efficient.
No interest in helping people with mental health problems and if anything this doctors adds to stress. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Phone call appointments are all you can get and if you have no phone then you will be denied help.
The doctors are great the reception staff are something else on hold for over an hour cheeky rude and not very helpful I'm serious thinking about going to another doctors my last doctor phone was answered in 5 rings disappointing
Think the reception staff and doctors are terrific. So glad we changed to this practice a few years ago after being with a practice who treated us really poorly.
Absolute worst practice ever!! Countless times they have disregarded the help we ask for! The worst of it is it’s all down to the the reception staff!! Absolutely useless, patronising and completely negligent to their patients! Their appointment and prescription systems are completely useless. You literally have to call them 5-6 times before someone decides to actually do their job! The doctors do their best, well....some of them do. DO NOT REGISTER WITH THIS PRACTICE. Nothing but absolute hassle!
