Kiltaraglen is incredible! We've had the pleasure of staying in both the Hollyview Annex and the Garden Wing. This time we spent a very restful week in the Garden Wing. Everything you could need, well equipped kitchen, large living room, super comfy bed, beautiful garden room. Always very clean, luxurious bedding and towels, special touches like fresh flowers. Pamela and Kevin are superb hosts. We love it here ! Nearby activities: A great base for exploring Skye. The Fairy pools, Talisker distillery, Old Man Storr, the Quairaing, Uig, Kilt Rock, Elgol Beach sunsets and much more are all within an hour's drive Walkability: Kiltaraglen is located an easy 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Portree.
stayed in the garden wing, so beautiful, well maintained, owners very attentive to any needs you may have, approachable and friendly, kitchen very well equipped, comfy bed, peaceful location, not far from the town about 20 minute walk. Cant praise it enough, would highly recommend. Would love to stay again, a great stay!
Kiltaraglen House was the best place to stay in Portree. It was out of town, so nice and quiet. But within easy walking distance of downtown and restaurants. We had a non-catering apartment, which was spotless and had everything we needed. There was a coop where we were able to find breakfast things. Pamela was a great inn-keeper, and was always available when we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here while on a tour to the isle of Skye. An amazing place to stay. Out of the city more which is amazing after exploring all day. A quick walk to stores and restaurants. The room we stayed in was super cute! House was not built for taller people. Which was fine for me. I can't wait to go back to Portree and stay in this lovely B&B. The owner and all the staff were super friendly and wonderful. Will definitely be back!
Pamela was a most gracious hostess. Clean, comfortable, well furnished and equipped bedroom and bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Short, safe 5 to 10 minute walk into town of Portree. Able to see Northern Lights from the bedroom window without having to climb up the mountain in the cold. WiFi.
Great location and great feeling to the place. Nice touches with fresh flowers and bottle of bubbly in the fridge. With every penny, will be staying again. A taxi to the town center was under £4 too. Nothing to complain about.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed in the Holly View Annex which is a delightful home away from home for the two of us. The facilities are excellent and we were warmly greeted when we arrived. The location is perfect as it is on the outskirts of Portree but extremely peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay again, highly recommended.
Great and cozy place. Perfect for family or couple vacation. If you see sample of the guest book comments. There are 80-100 pages of people satisfied with the place. The are new in airbnb. There is one fella with bad experience, I did not have any trouble he mentioned.
Beautiful place to stay at! Clean, neatly furnished. Lovely location and very close to the town center of Portree. I fell in love with the place and wouldn't mind living there forever; I can only agree that the owners are the nicest people ever. More than 5 stars!!
If there were a 6th star.... I would gladly give it to them !! Absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast . The owners are the nicest people ever and the rooms are so cute a spotless ! Also a very nice lounge area with a large flat screen TV -- It's a short pleasant walk from Portree .I feel lucky to have a booking here --the Internet wifi is super strong you can make whatsap phone calls and texts with ease -- Thanks so much !!!
