I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. My suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a fantastic view. Staying here in February, I particularly appreciated how warm and cozy the room was. The food was outstanding, truly amazingly prepared. The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm, and helpful. I honestly can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. Amazing place to stay in Portree, I would be delighted to come back
Amazing hotel, perfectly situated with great views and welcoming staff! We had our wedding dinner here last year, and came back to stay for our anniversary and had a great time. The rooms and views are great, and the staff are very welcoming, making the whole experience from checking in, to the meals and the check out, feel like a very personalised experience with them going out of their way to assist. The location is also in a peaceful bay just next to Portree and a number of breathtaking hiking sites! Definitely worth a visit.
The hotel is just great. My husband booked it to celebrate my birthday in the way we love: great hotel and great hiking.nnDon’t really know what to start with. We had a room with the seaview and the view is truly amazing. The room is huge, and exceptionally!!! clean. It equipped with all you need and a great coffee machine. The room itself is very livable and is great for a long stay.nFood is very good. It’s tasty and made of high quality ingredients. Breakfasts have their vibe as you are having them looking in panoramic window at sunrise. The team is great, everyone is ever so friendly and helpful.nnWe’ve been in some great hotels in the Lake District and Devon, but so far this one is my favourite.nnI wish this hotel stay this way and I’ll definitely come back.
This hotel far exceed our expectations. It is very traditional in the way it's run and in the décor, but just lovely, warm and welcoming. The front reading room, with the big fireplace is the heart of the hotel, but they have also a beautiful and very well managed bar. The bar attendant is friendly and very knowledgeable of whiskeys.nThe rooms are traditional, but very well kept, big and super comfortable.nThe staff is friendly and excellent. We were sad to leave.
Exceeded my expectations! The room, the view, the food, service everything is just outstanding. All the little extra touches and attention to detail, it’s very luxurious and the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, worth every penny. Got another night here and looking forward to it, will be sad to leave but will definitely be back
