Visited a few times recently and every experience has been brilliant. The food is amazing. Service is friendly and quick. Atmosphere is lovely, it’s always quiet. Food is very expensive but worth it. Lots of parking spaces and easy to get to via bus too!Food: 5/5
Went for Sunday carvery,I consider myself to have a healthy appetite so ordered the large carvery.It was huge! non of our party of 4 could finish their meal which were very tasty .A choice of 3 meats and a good selection of vegetables.We will be back,after we've starved ourselves for a couple of days.Food: 5/5
Not just a carvery! It's really good pub food all week long, competitively priced too. Decent vegan options on the menu which isn't a given in this part of the world. Whole place has had a facelift without losing it's personality, staff were friendly and well trained, good selection of draught drinks although no cask ales if that's your tbing. Special mention for refreshing the beer garden and kids play area - really nice space which adds a lot Vegetarian options: Vegan burgers fake meat patties rather than bean burgers, curry, sausages, a number of tapas options. Kid-friendliness: Play frame, rope net & two slides with wood bark underneath in case of falls
I had the roast beef, and it was amazing. I think the veg was ok, bur couldnt eat much as meat portion v generous. Service fine, alrhough vert bust on a Sunday so got asked to vacate our table. Weather was fine so we sat outside. Definitely give this place a try. You wont be disappointed. :Food: 4/5
Decided to try for our tea. After not been for a while. Food used to be cracking in here. 2 courses £10.95. Menu Changed regularly. All fresh food well cooked and well presented. Now £15.99 for 2 courses with limited choice. Well 1 choice. Food took forever to come. Very quiet now. Was always busy on a tea time if not sometimes to busy. Drastically went down hill Again after it had picked up significantly. £16 for potato skins followed by barbecue chicken . No imagination in specials . £7-8 at sambuca for skins and chicken dish. Can’t see this management lasting.
Me and the other half had a couple hours spare and searched for the best place to go for a drink in that area and up popped this pub happy we went there food was lovely we shared the tapas and loaded fries and the fresh pints never touched the sides that was first time in months of having a proper pint from the pump definitely recommend coming back
went today when passing. Potato skins for starters, excellent. I had the fish and chips, my wife had the scampi and the Grandaughter had Lasagne. All extremely tasty,hot and well presented. Definitely good value for money.Food: 5/5
The food is delicious, we would definitely recommend going. Fantastic outdoor space with play area. Love that it is dog friendly. The service was excellent. We will be back! ThanksFood: 5/5

I was there last Wednesday for lunch with my two sisters and two sister's in law's we all went for the smaller plates for our food and we weren't disappointed. Among other meals do you do afternoon tea ? We will be returning. The young lady that served us was lovely and polite. This makes all the difference when you visit places like yourself.
