The Railway Museum is at Kidderminster Railway Station on the Severn Valley Railway, but not managed by the SVR. There is a wide range of interesting old railway artifacts, mainly from the GWR era. Displays are constantly changing and improving so there is always something new to see. There is a very good cafe service of snacks and drinks where you can sit on historic railway benches to eat and drink. There aren't really any tables for knife and fork food. There is a wide range of secondhand railway books and other ephemera for sale at reasonable prices. The ground floor of the museum is wheelchair accessible.

Took the grandchildren and they enjoyed it as they could pull the levers in the mock up signal box. Great cafe as well.

Interesting small museum mostly focused on old engine signs and signalling equipment. Not particularly big so you could comfortably see everything within 30 minutes but includes a number of interactive displays such as signal levers you could operate. Also includes a shop selling mostly rail related books and a small cafe.

Really nice museum, lots to see and to do. Children love to visit it. Also much education for children. Good food in restaurant, shop with nice gifts.

Lovely and clean but I would say that you really do need to really like trains to enjoy this museum. It's quite technical and there is nothing aimed towards kids or families.
