Just spent a very peaceful weekend here with my family. Super location and easy to get to. The site is well looked after and the lodge was great, very well equipped and comfortable, particularly the hot tub. The bar / restaurant area was very comfortable, the food good and the girls loved the cocktails. All in all a great weekend and I have no problem recommending it for a break.
Booked a last minute stay at Keswick Reach. Staff were more than happy to welcome us with very little notice. The lodge was very clean, and had fantastic, unspoiled views to the back. Our stay was very peaceful. Had a couple drinks and snacks in the bar after after a long day walking, very refreshing and a lot of choice. Again, staff were very welcoming and friendly. 100 percent will be coming back again
Fantastic weekend with young adult family. Lodges are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The whole site is clean and well maintained. The treatments in the spa are outstanding. I’ve been twice for massage and facial. Lovely relaxing treatment room and excellent therapists. Claire and Amy both A* The restaurant in the evening Aldi very good. Fantastic service and tasty well presented fresh hot food. Good value for money too. Room for improvement: The bar should be open in the day for lunch and afternoon tea. It would be worthwhile. Excellent wee break, will return and recommend.
Just returned from 4 nights at Keswick Reach. We had a wonderful stay. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the site was immaculate and well kept. The bar area was warm and cosy and great selection of drinks. We stayed in a 3 bedroom lodge number 106 with hot tub. The lodge is lovely 3 bathrooms and well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The hot tub is checked daily for levels and well maintained. Lovely soft white robes provided. The only negative point was the inside door tray of the fridge was missing so we had to lay 4 pints of milk on the shelf which leaked all over our food. It was impossible to stand any bottles upright. We would stay here again.
Loved most of it. The lodges are lovely but have a few issues. We walked in to having solid bits of food on the cutlery, door handle wasn't even attached and sharp screws in the shower. The actual shower head was awful, every little jet was blocked with mould. Splashing different directions. There was a lot either missing or not provided in the kitchen. No measuring jug, chopping board or kitchen paper towels. I do think it's a brilliant place. Beautiful surroundings and not far from nice little towns. Just needs a bit more maintenance.
Very pleasant place to stay. Location is excellent. Rooms are big with attached toilets and bathrooms. Nice kitchen well equipped. Good sitting room space to chat with family and friends. Excellent service. I would visit again n again and recommend it is value for money. Well secured and children of all ages are safe and will enjoy.
A great base to explore the Lakes. Close to the Scottish border if you fancied a nice day out there instead. A lovely restaurant and bar along with nice walks. Dogs are very welcome. Lodges are nicely equipped too. Would definitely go again.Rooms: 4/5
brilliant place, stayed several times now. whole site always looks so clean and well kept. staff are so lovely and helpful. located in a beautiful area. definitely worth the money. the restaurant and spa on site are 10/10 too. never struggled to get in, always very accommodating. very reasonable prices.
This was our second visit. Its in such a lovely spot. The lodges are very warm and clean. It was a bit tired in places. The staff are friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant last night a great roast. The spa therapists are excellent, we came out walking on air.Rooms: 5/5
We had a bad start to our week with a birthday party that someone was having in a hot tub till 1am after 11pm you cant get hold of anyone, which really should be addressed! the staff were fantastic and sorted it the next day but when you've only had 5hrs sleep its a bit late!! our accommodation was very tired we thought maybe as we had 2 dogs they were supposed to get doggy bags but even they were forgotten that could have been why, as the rest of our family's separate lodge was far nicer - maybe we should have paid less and not more for ours the site itself is set with fantastic views and walks, and has a spa we got a complimentary hour for 2 of us due to issues with the noise as its £10 per head! Not much considering and there's a restaurant but we didn't use that so cant comment. We maybe wouldn't visit again until the security is sorted and lodges updated!!
