Beautiful location and excellent facilities. Staff are extremely friendly and polite. The bar is lovely and the log fire is amazing. Breakfast is great and the restaurant food is very good. The pool here is really good and the rooms (the apartments) are excellent. I Highly recommend this place.

The rooms have not enough windows and are very depressing. The carpets dirty and old. I have booked a room but when we came to hotel different room been given and no explanation been given. The manager has told us we will give your money back and go back to your home (we live 150 miles away from hotel with three kids). Food is about average but expensive. Under poor management.

Stopped in about 15.30 today after a hill walk. Coffee good. Tray bake brownie very good. Lemon cake also good but coffee cake was a bit of a disappointment. Ambience good but we hit swimming lessons for school kids so noise level inevitably rose a notch or two. Would go again though.

Family run style hotel in the lake district region. Very accommodating personnel, great restaurant and sport facilities complete the great experience in there.
