What a place. This is what a neighborhood pub has to be like: neighbors, extremely relaxed atmosphere and match is live. Bonus for good prices and convenient location. Don't let the looks fool you, this is England.
To be honest I can only tell you atmosphere from the outside as I have never really been inside. I'm not really a pub person. But a majority of the time I would say I see the locals from the area hanging outside general having a good time. You just need to be careful from time to time as I have seen a few arguments and fights happen but other then that thing can look okay.
Now that the quarantine finally kicked in, this is the quietest bar ever and I'm happy I live in front of it. Please do not ever open the doors again, without you we also don't have anymore crazy nor drunk people around.
We had a great time in this pub , Just dropped in passing by , Comfortable, very friendly staff chatted to us and made us feel V welcome , Nice locals too Definitely recommend
This is a downbeat pub in an area to match but a friendly, welcoming local crowd, mainly Irish & Afro-Caribbean, who get along famously with each other & have a laugh :- This wouldn't suit a higher cliental but could be interesting to people who'd be curious to see & witness this other side of London life, - if they are not already a part of it ! :-D

Love it all my good friends go there for a drink and to listen to the Regge music on Fridays by my friend Manny great place reasonable priced drinks Dot
It’s an oldie pub , couple of fruit machines , pool table and jukebox . Few old inebriated regulars are permanent fixtures and is usually quite busy . Can be a little rough for the taste of some on a weekend or match day
Nice pub friendly staff/landlady. Better by the day than night
Nice place, cozy and friendly atmosphere, good quality beer
