We are a lively gastro pub tucked away in Notting Hill

Amazing food. Steak was tender and great combination chimichurri. My old fashioned drink was also nice and unlike other places didn’t have too much ice. My wife had risotto with mushroom which wasn’t great as I ended up finishing it for her what sacrifices I make! our fiend had burger and she seemed happy as her plate was empty so I guess it was good
The rainy Sunday afternoon a warm welcoming feeling when you enter the main doors looks afresh old rusty pub that has a splash of some colours. The service is decent and I would say the speed of service is decent. The burger was great the buns wasn't crispy from the inside. Felt a bit moist. The chips were chunky but nice on a bite. The roast loved the quantity and the sauce was great. Over all it was nice for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Incredibly kid friendly and the food really hit the spot. Staff were very helpful as well. Nice little spot in London to put your feet up and grab a bite to eat. Only thing holding it back from 5 stars was the music which was meant to be background music was a tad bit too loud and almost had to shout to be heard across the table.
First time at The Prince Bonaparte, amazing experience. The seasonal menu was exceptional, great variation in the dishes with some unique twists and flavour combinations. Delicious paring wine and the cocktails were fantastic. The sorbet and the cheesecake for dessert were the perfect end to a memorable meal.
we have been coming here for over a decade. It has now changed at the back, it is a very chic restaurant yet the front stays the same, great local pub. Food was really delicious, we had bone marrow, octopus, pork belly and fish and chips, corn fritters, negronis to start with and some lovely wine. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. It was a great experience and a nice surprise to find the revamped back.
We had a lovely dinner here yesterday - the food was really excellent, much better than standard pub food! And our waitress was lovely. It wasn’t super busy and loud as some pubs can be on a Friday evening, which I liked, especially as we went with two little kids and my mum. Will definitely come back!
The food and drinks were nice. Tasty beers, good wine list and the roasts were well made and value for money. However, the service was really poor. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, it was 15 mins before I was sat down. Then it took over an hour after we'd ordered for our food to actually arrive. It took the edge off what otherwise would have been a pretty nice meal.
Great service and menu. We weren't able to get everything we ordered as we were told that the chef wasn't too happy with the quality, and we appreciated their honesty. The pub felt warm and friendly and we felt looked after by the team. They had some outdoor seating at the front of the pub which was cute.
Great roast, we had the three meat roast to share and it was amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Came here for our annual Christmas dinner, started with what must be one of the best Bloody Mary's in London, and the dinner that followed was really good! Despite a busy day with football on the screens and lots of people we wanted for nothing the whole time and we're really well taken care of. Thanks for giving us an awesome experience!!
