During my recent visit to Kens I was met with a disheartening experience. The Mexican and Beef Eater pizzas, which I had eagerly anticipated, turned out to be a letdown. The pizzas were noticeably oily to the touch, leaving an unpleasant greasy residue on the hands. Moreover, the excessive saltiness of both pizzas was overpowering, masking any other potential flavors and making it a challenge to enjoy the meal. Overall, the quality and taste fell short of expectations, leaving much to be desired from the culinary experience.
The only way I'd recommend this place is if you were having a night of drinking and were absolutely plastered, or every other place in town was closed. Food is somewhat edible, but really was an extortionate disaster. The chicken fillet in the burger covered barely 60 percent of the bun. Spicy wings were just salt, pepper and flour. Boneless chicken strips were chewy like rubber. The chicken connoisseur would have a field day with this place.
Food was inedible, the chicken tasted like fish and was dryer than sand. I got a 3 piece box, took a bite out of each piece and spat it back out through fear of food poisoning. No loo roll in the filthy toilets they hadn't run out...just didn't fancy supplying it and Just a foul place to be. The staff did seem friendly but not enough to offset the terrifying hygiene standards
NOTHING IS FRESH !! the chicken looks old, tastes old and is definitely frozen prior. I took one bite and wanted to vomit. even my canned 7up tasted absolutely horrid. everything's dry and tastes bad which is unfortunate since there arent many halal shops around her. I'd only recommend if you want a week off work from being sick
Absolutely awful! £23 for a large mixed grill and 90% of it was disgusting donner meat! 1 token piece of lamb which was seriously overcooked and 2 or 3 pieces of dry chicken pieces. The lamb and chicken wrap had no lamb just donner meat!! Cost over £50 for 3 people disgusting waste of money!!! Never again!
Would give a zero if I could, ordered the mixed swarma wrap that should include chicken lamb and beef according to there disription when we called up to try and solve the problem she was very very rude and hanged up the phone, never had an issue with kens before maybe they need to check who there employing, will never be going backFood: 1/5
Absolute disgrace. It’s a kebab, not expecting gourmet, but I do expect a kebab and not a pile of cold meat and a pitta on the side. I ordered salad and garlic sauce, I got a squirt of sauce on a polystyrene case and a bit of tomato. Avoid these thieves at all costs. You call them and they all blame the other branch.
Food arrives in open boxes in a warm car, disgustingFood: 1/5
They don’t use proper cheese on cheesy chips it’s that fake, non melt muck. Burgers were brown before they cooked them. Avoid at all cost.
Buy one get one free sign in the window however the staff got very angry when we asked for the free pizza. We all felt threatened and had to walk away.
