Always generous portions - King prawn with green peppers in black bean sauce chow mein is my favourite, the prawn toast from this place are amazing too
Although very tiny restaurant, the food was great and were really generous with the portions that we had it as a take out. Also their honey, ginger tea is delicious.
Order chilli chips! They were not chilli and the price has gone up to £4.50!!! I am a regular customer but I am not happy about this and this will be the last time I come in golden bowl. It was empty plain chips!!

Moved around the corner from here as a student and love this place! My partner and I have ordered from here many times and will do much more. Very pleasantly surprised by the king prawns in cheese sauce. Staff are very kind and friendly.

I ordered through uber eats and am vegetarian. I had meat in my vegetable spring rolls but when I phoned they tried to claim that there isn’t any possible way that there could be when I definitely tasted and saw meat. Will not be ordering from them again.
Delicious and amazing! One of the rare Chinese takeaways that serves fantastic authentic homemade Cantonese delights like crispy pork and soft belly pork with picked mustard veg unavailable at most other regular Chinese takeaways. Huge portions, extensive menu, don't be fooled by the small shop front! Speedy delivery, friendly efficient staff, I am extremely happy as a repeat customer!
