Not my usual bike shop but I had 2 punctures on my ride and this place was the closest so I bought a very expensive inner tube from them and asked if I could fit it inside the store and was told no you'll have to go outside. Then once outside found out it was the wrong inner tube the completely wrong value and size even easy mistake maybe but paying nearly £10 for a inner tube and then not being offered a decent service from staff was embarrassing.
Haven't been on my bike for a while but got back on it recently, and I quickly realised why I always used Ken Fosters before. Great service, Liam was brilliant, really helpful with sorting out my chain and giving me advice on how to refit it. Highly recommended, best bike shop in Manchester.
Awesome LBS. Sorted a few things out for me which were beyond my skill level. Even spot and sort things I didn't mention. It's a nice surprise when you go to replace a bolt or sort out your fork and notice they've already done it for you! Always a great price aswell.
I trust this shop. I use them to maintain and repair both my conventional and e-bike which both came from here. I cycle most days to get about rather than for sport and don't own any lycra. KF are very informative and helpful and I can't think of any problem they haven't resolved. They usually have what I need when I need it as they are open 7 days. They are a bit pricey but I don't visit too often and it's definitely worth it. Took my bike in Monday after a problem on my morning commute they looked at it concluded it was minor fixed it and I was back on the road that afternoon.
They were extremely helpful for a newcomer such as myself - Helping me to find the exact right inner tubes and tires to fit my bike, and even helping to install them - Would highly recommend coming here for anything you need.
I’ve bought bikes from this business since 2002 including my current Brompton. Their service has always been exceptional. This morning I had to call them with an emergency. My daughter’s wheelchair had a flat earlier in the week. We had ordered a new inner tube online. I managed to get the tyre off and put the new inner tube on but I couldn’t get the new tyre on at all. For over an hour and a half on Friday night I was struggling to get this tyre on. This was really grim because she had an event to be at in Stockport at 10am. I called them for help at 8.30am this morning. They told me to pop by at 9.15. By 9.20 the tyre was on and both rear tyres had been inflated. I cannot thank them enough!!! Superb service and a true community business. BTW my daughter got to the event on time and had a great day. Thank you so much!!!
Staff are so friendly and helpful, I was having issues fitting a new tyre bought elsewhere. Popped in and within 5 minutes the tyre was fitted with such ease. Couldn't recommend them enough, lucky to have such knowledgable, friendly cycle experts in Chorlton.
My ebike was in need of a service. As ever, the staff were helpful and efficient with my request. The bike was returned running smoothly. Highly recommended
Lucky to have such a good bike shop so close to home! Did a great job replacing my handlebar and reattached my pannier and mudguard no problem. Helpful and friendly staff with efficient and well priced services!
I have just picked up my full suspension Specialised StumpJumper bike and had to leave a glowing review! I cannot praise the team enough especially Keith the mechanic for fully restoring my bike as if it was new again with a full Deluxe Service. The bike needed so much work done and now rides like a dream. The mechanic was very genuine and honest with what the bike needed repairing or replaced and could have sold me every part under the sun. Good communication over the few days they had my bike due to the extensive work required and so reasonably priced at £262 for everything. Will definitely return for a regular service and take my road bike in also. Keep up the Great Work PS. Ask for Keith... You won't go wrong!
