Nice manor with an interesting history. And when the sun is out the garden is a paradise.

Lovely charming house based in equally charming village. The house itself is worth a visit and has period features and furniture but not a lot of antiquities, also small inside hence timed tickets as does get busy. 
Tea room looked lovely and sitting outside was nice area, but we couldn't sample the cuisine as no spaces (timed tickets didn't allow for the queues). The gardens although nice weren't big and planting was basic so you take to long to walk round them. There are plenty of paths to walk and as I said it's a lovely area.

The summer home of William Morris. Lots of lovely Rossetti paintings. Not good if you can't walk far as the car was 15 mins away the speed I can walk
