The staff could not be more helpful even though I was one of those annoying customers waiting at the door first thing in the morning I never do that and waved away my apologies with a laugh. A last minute change from my normal backpack to a rolling duffel back with backpack straps for stairs. Great parking right out front and a nice spacious shop filled with every essential for a trip. Quality, Quality, Quality. Off to Europe. Thanks again.
With car parking directly out the front, the store is quite spacious, presented well and holds more products than Charlestown store. The team were great with their customer service and product knowledge, don’t just think about the price, think about how long you until you will look back on your purchase and not regret it.
Good service. Too pricey for the quality though.
Kathmandu @ Newcastle seems to be consistently friendly and very helpful. The staff definitely know their products and are great at recommending items that are fit for purpose. The only negative, is that it is only worth buying their products when they are on sale;otherwise it is overpriced.
Great quality outdoor shoes and clothing. My husband and I bought a lot as we love their range. Top service and friendly too.
It is a bigger store than the Charlestown. It's got more collection than a normal Kathmandu as it's more like a warehouse style. They had a half price sale going when I was there last, so got a better deal than usual. Would have appreciated if the sales person had offered a bag with my purchase even if I had to pay for it. Wasn't impressed when I had carry my clothes in my hand without a bag and had to dumb it in the passenger seat.
Really love there gear as it lives up to the description. However, very expensive at full price. Best wait till their 40% off discountnow & buy at an acceptable price range. Just bought some more pieces today!
Expert shoe fitting service and advice from Georgia. Thank you!
Excellent service and knowledge at the Kotara store from Kelly. Bought a running light and will be back for a running vest after the conversation today highly recommend. And from my experience over years Kathmandu gear has always been great quality and value.
I went to Kathmandu at Kotara for some camping supplies. The woman who served us was very friendly and very helpful. She was an intellectual when it came to all things camping. She recommended her fav items. She even gave us a nice discount. Products are high quality, but still a bit expensive.
