The Kerala food at Kairali is quite good and offers generous portions. Their chicken biryani combo is a must-try, and the customizable non-veg meals are also excellent. If they could improve their overall ambiance and service slightly, it could easily be a 5 out of 5 option.Food: 5/5
Overall: The food and service was really good! The quantity of each dish is more than enough and they were tasty. The atmosphere and cleanliness were not up to the standards. There were couple of flies in the dining area, the washrooms smelt really bad and were not clean at all. Food: Personal favourites are Wings 360, Boaty roast, Mutton dhum biryani. Kappa Biryani is a unique dish, no rice and just mutton and kappacassava. I had other dishes to pair it with. So dont expect typical biryani and disappoint yourself. Boaty roast was yumm, will definitely get it next time as well. I will probably do take out next time rather than dining in.
The food was served within 20 minutes!! The chicken lollipop tasted awesome with full of flavours!! Appam and chicken kurma were fantastic with an authentic flavour.. Beef Kizhi parotta tasted great!! Mutton Kothuwas delicious.. we enjoyed our dinner today !!Food: 5/5
Decent food and menu options. Service could be a little more fast and better. Had to wait 15-20 mins to make an order after being seated, even though place was empty and there were only two tables with customers. Food options are okay but most time feels like the quality goes up and down each time. Consistency could be improved Vegetarian options: Available plenty of regional dishes Dietary restrictions: Accommodative for simple restrictions but don’t offer many options Parking: They have decent space parking lot available beside Kid-friendliness: Friendly for all with high chairs available but not specifically kids menu provided Wheelchair accessibility: Limited accessible and space at elevated location
Food was hot and okay. I frequently used to eat the bucket biriyani sold here. Its so good with the tandoori chicken and biriyani rice . As for today we had combo 5beef curry , combo 6fish fry , dum biriyani and chicken kothu roti . Its okay.Food: 4/5
Yummy Indian food, service was excellent. I went here on a Saturday with my family we had ordered the chilly chicken, parotta and tandoor chicken. The chilly chicken was good but the chicken was blackish on the inside. The parotta was very nice I took extra for takeout and then heated on the stove. It was even better after heating. We also bought the tandoor chicken, it tasted good but was not heated to my liking so I asked to heat it a bit more. The staff were very friendly and came to our help with a smile. The atmosphere was ok they had a cosy restaurant but would have helped if it was more decorated and larger in size as the parking lot was bigger then the entire restaurant. The price was expensive but it was reasonable. Overall 5 stars will recommend to go dine in tho. Vegetarian options: they have dosa for breakfast
I came for an unplanned lunch with my friend on Sunday and luckily got the seating. I ordered Chicken and mutton dum briyani and their Sunday special shrimp nirvana. the food take quite some time to arrive. The shrimp nirvana is well made and the taste is a blast.Food: 5/5
I recently tried the Mixed Fried Rice, and it was a wonderful meal. The chicken and shrimp were both tender and flavorful, adding a satisfying protein element to the dish. The egg turned out to be perfectly cooked, with a light creamy texture that went well with the other ingredients. The chopped vegetables-carrots, peas, and bell peppers, perhaps?-added a nice crunch and freshness to balance out the richness of the fried rice. I loved the basmati rice, light and fluffy with a nutty flavor that complemented the savory stir-fry seasoning. Overall, the dish was well-seasoned, though I felt it could have used a bit more of a kick in terms of spice for those of us who enjoy that little something that gives a spicier or bolder flavor profile to a meal. The portion size was generous for the price, and it felt like a fulfilling meal. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that I would have liked a little more variety in the vegetables or perhaps some extra sauce to make it even more flavorful. Overall, this is a great option if you're craving a comforting, well-balanced fried rice dish. Highly recommend it!
One of the best Kerala restaurant in Scarborough. I had some of the dishes like beef ulathiyath wid combo 5, beef biriyani etc. Absolutely awesome . Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. I can say it again, I never had this much tasty beef from Canada. Highly recommend
Food quality: Average, can’t say wow! Service: Less staff, due to this less frequent of attending table by the servers Ambience: 3 Food: Shrimp was with zero masala in it, just fried in coconut batter Chicken lollipop: Too salty Biriyani Platter: Presentation is good but Rice not cooked properly, masala was not great, ordered Beef Biriyani: beef not cooked well. Parking: Hard to get parking space during the weekend busy hours
