Friendly, welcoming staff, love the interior of the junction inn and food was absolutely delicious! The roast dinner was spot on will be coming back to try more food amazing! Highly recommend
Not been for a while and used to be a lot better. Cider tasted flat . For some reason they like to save the proper glasses for beer on the top shelf and serve half pints in those awful long plain glasses made for soft drinks . Please don’t do that it’s very off putting . Half a craft should be in a proper beer glass you have lots of them so use them. Food just ok used to be a lot better not sure what’s changed
We had a meal for birthday, 6 people, greeted with smiley staff who were attentive but not overbearing. Good service and excellent food. I liked the fact that there was background music which wasn't too loud to have a conversation. The pub was warm and cosy couldn't fault it, a really good night was enjoyed by all. Well done.
On a one night visit to the area and found “The Junction” which had decent reviews online, decided to give it a go and on my short walk there passed another eatery which was empty of clients. Walked through the door of the Junction and the greeting was as warm as the interior which is beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. I was given a table even though it was busy and I hadn’t a reservation . My meal was superb, very well cooked and presented, the staff were attentive and pleasant. Great place, food , value and service. Give it a try if you are in the area.
Love this place. A well maintained, cosy traditional setting and atmosphere. We have eaten here several times and the food is always to a really good standard. A good selection of drinks and the prices are very reasonable too. There's ample parking at the rear and an open seating area at the front to watch the world go by. Definitely worth a visit.
Been coming here on and off for a few years. Large pub with a good menu and not too expensive. Favourite dish is the Gammon, the chef does some really tasty steaks! Cosy atmosphere with fireplaces in the winter. Tends to be busy on weekends so booking is advised but have been in several times at lunchtime and been able to get a table without hesitation.
Beautiful setting, Christmas decorations, great service and food
Great beers, fabulous food and the Christmas decorations were superb.
Great place to eat . Food is fantastic hearty and great quality . Been here twice definitely worth a visit. Staff are fantastic highly recommended. Miss it and miss out .
Came here for a geocaching event. What a lovely pub. Nice and warm and cosy. Really well decorated. Parking a plenty and the food was delicious. I had cheese and onion pie which was home made and a really large tasty portion. Others in the group had rag pudding and steak pie, both look just as nice as my meal . Would certainly recommend
