I go here with the family, it's in a nice setting with a church next to it with some nice views over uppermill. Nice place for a walk with the dog and a bite to eat.
Lovely welcoming pub tucked away in a quiet location. Staff friendly and food is home cooked, huge portions and good value. Highly recommend.
Lovely food. Very much a country pub. Dont like the drive to it as very narrow roads but worth it when you get there. Bit pricey but again worth it for the food and drinks. Friendly atmosphere from staff.
Church Inn is in an idylic spot! Feels like youre in middle of nature when youre sat out on benches, chatting with family+friends, listening to birds chirping, trees rustling in breeze and meeting other little 4legged friends, doggies, LOVELY!! Food is lovely too!
Sunday roast top notch. Proper fire. Nice pint of mild. Great country pub.
Lovely food, reasonably priced. Went in the Covid pandemic and was impressed with the measures put in place, distanced queue, screens in front of the bar and staff wearing masks. If you want to sit inside i think you need to book a table, so best to ring beforehand.
Popped in for one drink & ended up staying for two & a having a meal too! Beautiful place with views, very tasty food, great wine & lovely, friendly staff. Thank you.
The cask beer is superb. Good to try the beer brewed onsite. Not sure why it isn't in the CAMRA good beer guide but it should be. Would recommend for anyone who likes great cask beer
