Came across this venue as my usual choice was fully booked. I made an online booking and found there was lots of availability on the day I attended Sunday 18 August. Upon arrival my booking was confirmed and I was shown to my table. The queue for the carvery was 3 lines deep but moved quickly. Ten minutes later,I was sat down with a plateful! I chose roast lamb, gorgeous mash and superb roast potatoes,peas and carrots. This is as close to mums home cooking you will ever get. Every aspect t was delicious. I couldn't praise the food enough, needless to say, this is going to become a weekly event. The plates tell the story! Special thanks to McKenzie slaving away carving the meat, and Olivia making sure all was OK, and it was!
I wanted a carvery since Tuesday and finallu decided to treat myself and my bf one at the weekend. We arrived early for a carvery and been told it started at 12. Abbie welcomed and sat us down to wait while we are having my coffee. She was so polite and efficient. Kencie at the carvery was fabulous and professional. He served me with the best and hottest piece of meat. There was a good variety of vegetables to choose from.
Went for father's day food was nice and tasty, bit of a queue but expected. The turkey was by far the best meat so juicy..I've been many times and would recommend.. u know what your getting, a good carvery and nice atmosphere..Food: 4/5
I was impressed with the decorative details of this place and the lovely attention of the staff in all its areas. When you arrive you have to register your car's license plate, because the parking is private, but free for the Pub's customers. Although the style of the restaurant is self-service, you have several options available. In this case, I chose "Roast Beef." You can serve yourself the amount you want, and I tell you that I enjoyed it a lot. The prices, taking into consideration the area and the quality of the food, are currently super affordable. 100% recommended. My daughter is gluten intolerant & the staff were all so well informed & helpful. It was honestly the most positive dining experience we’ve had since she was diagnosed. The man who welcomed us and found our table was absolutely great & the waitress was also lovely. We will definitely be back. The vegetarian gravy is also gluten free - this made my daughter’s year as she can never usually have gravy when we eat out.

Went in today and got a carvery, was biting into my Mashed potatoes and they tasted off... Thought nothing of it and just didn't eat them, moved onto my roast potatoes, sliced into them and they were rotten inside.. safe to say I was put off the meal. Informed a member of staff named "Leah" and she just said "ah right okay" grabbed the plate and left to grab the Bill. Was expecting more then just acknowledgement of the problem, the minimum a sorry at least.
I had a great time at Toby in chadderton! The food was on point, the service was amazing, and our server Tricia was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and she had a very good attitude and happy personality. She made our experience 5 star! Would definitely recommend going to this restaurant.Food: 5/5
