We went to Judges for my husbands birthday, we arrived there at 3pm and we waited 50 minutes before we even got our drinks. We had to ask 3 times before they arrived! The lady that was serving us, didn’t say much, just that she was sorry! My husband ordered a starter that we never received. We ordered the roast dinner, 2x chicken, 2 x beef and 1 lamb. I couldn’t see the lamb on the platter, so I asked the waitress that served us “where is the lamb “? she said she couldn’t see it too! I then asked another waitress and she never got back to us. We started to eat our dinner then half way through our meal, we spoke to another waitress and she brought us 2 slices of lamb ( which cost £18 ) The food was extremely disappointing! When we finished our meal, we asked for our bill which was wrong. We had been charged for the starter that we never received (£14) All the waitresses seem poorly trained and you just wait so long for your drinks & food. I couldn’t wait to go outside to the beautiful garden area.

After hearing really mixed reviews I was a tad worried we weren't going to have a very good night. However we had a great time, our waitress I think her name was Leah was extremely attentive, made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. We all had a main and desert, which were all delicious and in good time. The cocktails were very good too and the decor and ambience made a really fun evening. I would definitely return, there was a party in the heated terrace so it was too busy to go in there, but I can imagine the summertime it will be a great place to visit!

Ignore these reviews and go and try it for yourself. What an great place, exactly what Northaw needed. Young professional staff which you rarely see in restaurants like this. Great music, fairly priced tasty food (get the t-bone). Black table cloths are a smart touch and even the marquee has a heated floor with live music. Already booked back in.

After reading the reviews on this place I was more inclined to dine elsewhere however so glad I didn’t. What a beautiful place. Was a wait on the food but this was politely addressed by the manager for which he the offered us a round of drinks as an apology. Moved into the lean too after where there was a dj. Service was great and lovely greetings in and out. Well done. Can’t wait to come back x

I am giving 3 stars as there is lots of potential for Judges to be fantastic and I really hope that the Manager takes on board all the reviews as I want it to work for them. The area needs a restaurant / cocktail bar like this since Nolitas closed!! The menu itself is lovely but the food we had was rather bland, we thought it would be fantastic seeing as the waiters brought it out wearing white gloves (unnecessary). The staff we met were all friendly and attentive, the cocktail bar was busy and had a great atmosphere but I would rather come back again for great food rather than great drinks. We will come back but maybe not for awhile in hope that these reviews are taken on board and the food is worked on.
