I recently stopped by the Harvester in Potters Bar for lunch, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff were fantastic—warm, friendly, and eager to make sure everything was just right. And the garden! It’s like a hidden gem—absolutely picturesque, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal surrounded by nature.nnThe food itself was spot on—fresh, bursting with flavour, and deeply comforting. Each dish felt like it was crafted with care, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable meal in a lovely setting. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We’re regulars to the Harvester Oakmere and service and food never disappoints. Super friendly staff. Special thanks to Lily. Great food at good price. Recommend downloading their app for rewards and vouchers.

I had a great time here tonight 22/02/25. A friend and I just turned up, we had not booked but the lady on reception checked her computer and said we could come in. So that was great. We had a lovely young man called Rahim who helped us with our choices, he was very considerate and attentive to us, he went the extra mile with his service! Thanks Rahim. I had a chicken skewer, the chips were beautiful and I forgot that the Harvester did the salad bar, so that’s was great too. Thanks for having us. Well worth the drive. Oh my proffered cider is Kopperberg, but I won’t take stars away for that

Nicely decorated restaurant overlooking a lake with outdoor seating.nnService is friendly, efficient, and relaxed.nnFood is freshly cooked to order coming out of the kitchen hot and simply presented.nThe free salad bar is fresh and vibrant with a good choice and even a selection of rolls.nnPlenty of parking, but do remember to register your vehicle in the restaurant not to be charged.

Really appreciate the birthday meal as a gesture. The food was also beautifully cooked and the service excellent.  I could not have asked for more, save to actually try and remember to collect my visit stamps in the app next time. You should sell the sage and onion coating for your fries and your blue cheese dressing and I'd happily pay so that I could take these home!
