Pretty basic playground, they have 2 normal swings, 2 toddler swings, a baby slide and bigger kids wooden climbing frame with slide. The floor is soft rubber. Was clean and tidy. Only 1 bench for adults though. It's alright, nothing bad, just basic.
Absolutely loved it! More like a heath than a park, with a lot of vast green spaces and a beautiful lake in the middle.
I have to say firstly, although I've been by this Park hundreds of times, I've only been in there once and even then it was flooded. However, people might be surprised when I say i found this Park absolutely stunning, surely I can't say that, but look at the pictures, it's true. Think it's fair to fair to say it is a brilliant Park even without the flooding.
Quite nice, calm place to be at, really open and one of the parks that has alot of walkways. Quite small but awesome to take your dog for a walk or even a small visit with the family. Does have amazing scenery of the trees too for any enthusiasts.
What a fantastic park. Plenty of space to walk the dogs and an added bonus to have the river run aside it. The park always seems well tended to with the grass cut at regular intervals and most dog walkers seem to clear up after their dogs. The park does flood in times of heavy rain but nothing that a good pair of wellies won't tackle. Needless to say the dogs love it. There is a good sized car park to which I have never had issues parking in.
Love this park! Great place!!
Never crowded, a nice sized car park for about 20 cars. Lots of little parts sectioned off with trees. Perfect for dogs and also a park at the far end for kids.
Lovely place to walk with dogs.
A lovely local green space. It does flood after heavy, prolonged rain. There is a basic, fenced off play area for younger children. Plenty of grass to give your dog a good run.
Basically a river flood plain, so very muddy when wet. Not an interesting park at all. Nice to see the natural river flowing and bending through though.
