This is a littke gem of a takeaway, the owners are very approachable, and know how to look after there customers. I had the honey chilli chicken with rice and it was the best i have tried, my work colleague had the same and was equally Impressed it was so tasty. The portions are very generous and quality is amazing. Parking: Plenty of parking outside
Never been disappointed with the food or service. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in the area and much better quality than others too. Always greeted with a smile. Definitely recommend
Recently my local Chinese has gone downhill, after always seeing jakkies recommended I switched to here, and after a few orders I’ve made the decision to come here permanently, as it’s absolutely worth the extra drive it takes. It’s always ready to collect within 5-10mins, big portions, perfect salt and pepper chips.
Jakkis is our favourite Chinese takeaway in Newcastle. We’ve tried numerous items from the menu and they are all great. Our favourite items are the munch boxes and the curry
Ordered 9.12pm to be delivered 10.12pm on a saturday night. Rang at 10.40pm and it was closed. No food and no call to say we werent getting food. Good job I didnt pay upfront, but still, left us hanging and hangry, had to order elsewhere but eventually got lush food from elsewhere!!!
Absolutely fantastic, best Chinese in the area, so welcoming and polite you really feel welcome, great service and wouldn’t go anywhere else now, my girlfriend is GF and there is GF options on almost every dish! Incredible
I can't explain how excited I get knowing I'm having a Jakkis for tea. Always spot on fresh and hot on arrival. Can't fault at all. Its my 1 year olds first little try tonight and he's demolished it.
I just placed an order here and the guy called me SCREAMING down the phone saying they were too busy to cater to no noodles in the vegan munch box. He was literally screaming on the phone being so rude, when asked why he was shouting at me he replied “because I want to speak”. That’s disgusting behaviour, and I hope this ‘man’ grows up! We had better food elsewhere, hope you learn your lesson!
