Very surprised, first visit to this building m, was expecting old type town hall, but this is a brand new build. Very smart and welcoming. Airy and bright, well laid out.
Visited the library to work. It's a bright airy space albeit not large in library space. It has a work table, PCs and few comfy chairs with tables. There is a kids library and play space area in one corner. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the public WiFi connects ok but seems to drop unexpectedly and you need to reconnect. I had the same experience in Linwood library. User experience needs looked into.
First time to this great wee venue. I must say the venue, staff, ambiance and prices are brilliant. Compared to Glasgow venues, which I attend regularly, no comparison......Johnstone wins on every level.
I attended this Town Hall on Saturday to see my granddaughter doing her dance night, I thought the building was very impressive well maintained clean & tidy , the various member of staff that I spoke to were very pleasant and helpful, I intend to be back soon to see some shows that are coming up,
We attended for my sisters wedding and every single aspect of the day was absolutely amazing. I cannot praise these guys enough, the work they put in to make this day run smooth will never be forgotten. The food, the service, everything was perfect. I did not get the white haired man's name whi was there all day but he is a diamond and he made my sisters day run like a well oiled machine. Thank you so much
