Without a Doubt, the finest store on the high street. Customer service, is second to none. You set a precedence for every other shop out there. Remarkably competitive prices. Remember, if you buy something from them and they reduce it within 30 days of your purchase, they refund the difference. They did this for me on a coffee machine, it was the final day, so they gave me £30 refund. Just bought a wonderful dish for £8.00. 2 Denby espresso cups, reduced from £24.00 to £9.60. Amazing.
Not very well run cafe. Loads of tables full of used crockery/discarded food. Staff walking past these tables with empty trays back to kitchen after serving food could easily take them back. They don't work as a team. We were there at about 1.15pm today and yes, it is half term and it was busy, if the staff pulled together it could have been better. A member of the public almost tripped over a tray propped up against a table. There was only one person on the till initially with a long queue of people some with hot food, waiting to pay. I had the soup which was ok but not home made. We love John Lewis but I think this restaurant is letting it down. Do not become NOT the Place To Eat.
A very good department store I have been to many times. The service is excellent and the staff have a good knowledge of the products being sold, which helps if you need advice. The cafe is also good with a selection of foods, cake and good coffee. Whatever they sell you can be sure the quality is good.
would not purchase white goods from here owing to a previously bad experiencedamaged oven and they take too long for delivery. Otherwise it is always a pleasure to shop here. customer service is exceptional and product choice is marvellous.
I like this shop. It's quiet and has good customer service. Good range of products and nice place to walk around in. I wish the UD make up counter was staffed. I love the hair section.. It has a hair dresser and cafe. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
Now we all know John Lewis delivers very good customer service. However I would like to point out exceptional customer service. Fiza hope I have the spelling correct who recently sold me a laptop and software was so helpful and knowledgeable. No hard sell, simply understanding the customer and meeting the need. I cannot thank her enough. John Lewis at its BEST.
I received excellent service in the electrical kitchen appliance department. I was served by two very helpful gentlemen - Gurmit and Jay, both superb members of staff who went above and beyond to advise and assist with purchasing a coffee machine. Thank you very much for all your help. This experience is why I love shopping at John Lewis!
Went to buy a washing machine and found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. No pressure selling just excellent service . Will certainly shop at John Lewis again. A lovely friendly atmosphere in store. Why can't other stores emulate their ethos.
