Jobcentre is a place you might have to use at some point in your life even if you don't want to. The staff at Norwich Jobcentre are very friendly and helpful and genuinely will try to help you get back into work. While being signed on at Jobcentre you are offered a lot of services like help with CV writing, mock job interviews, sessions with other jobseekers offering advice where to look for work, how to fill in application forms, how to write best cover letters, and so on. You get a work coach allocated too who will guide and support you through your work search.

Very disapppinted that their Ferris wheel no longer works. Not many activities to choose from, miserable staff and lackluster toilet facilities. It’s like they went out of their way to make the most depressing and unmotivating place they could ever possibly make.

Popped in here for about 20 minutes. The place stunk, security was way over the top and facilities were slow and out dated. I felt for the staff. The council should be ashamed of themselves. The job center should be an enjoyable experience with state of the art facilities, helping people get back into work. Maybe directing young people to take apprenticeships or part time education to increase skills and knowledge. It felt shameful and all just seemed wrong! Maybe that's what they want?

I've only ever had to use this place once in my life (fortunately). I was treated like a child, told off for not filling something in correctly, sat next to people who kept talking about my appearance really loudly but no one seemed to care. It was a humiliating experience. If I ever find myself out of work again I will have to survive without help as I cannot suffer the patronising staff in this place again

As an employer looking for staff I was treated well by staff who arranged interviews, let me use a room and ensured that I had everything I need. Yes the surroundings are dated and it is a dull place, as it is below ground on 3 sides, but it's not something that should be held against the staff who work hard and have strict rules that they have to adhere to.
