Thank you to the staff at Aylesbury Jewson. I’d unsuccessfully been looking for a 1 foot in length 4x4 fence post. Many other outlets such as B&Q, Wickes, Lords, Grant & Stone, all of them supply the post, but…none of these outlets could cut the post to my required measurement. In fact B&Q boast of cutting wood, which is true, but that applies ONLY to sheet-wood. No problem for Jewson, they cut any type of wood to your specific measurements….a brilliant customer service, highly recommended.!
John inside was great as always. Staff member in the yard wasn’t so much. Wanted 2m of timber cut in half. Was told I needed my own saw to cut it. I was told they didn’t offer a timber cutting service at the weekend. Went across the road to Travis Perkins who allowed me to use a saw rather than having to buy one.
I would like to say a big thank you to Richard the delivery man. Who went above and beyond to put 2 ton of stones exactly where I needed them, saving me a mammoth amount of work.
Helpful friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had to wait a short while to get wood cut and they brought it out to my vehicle too. Considering I'm not a chippie and was pretty clueless this lot were great. Definitely recommend this place.
From the managers to the delivery drivers I have always found the team at Jewson Aylesbury to be very efficient, consistently providing great customer service when supplying building materials
