An excellent place for pie and mash. There pies they have are absolutely brilliant. Good beer, friendly staff and clean tidy place. Good selection of other pub grub at reasonable prices and good selection of beers or spirits to wish it down with. Was the first time I ate food here and will be back again for it. Also some more of there cask ale.

It's a great proper pub. Like before so many places were brought out by franchise/corporation type company's. The food is good and really genuinely cheap. Great atmosphere over Christmas 2017. Dog and child friendly. Beer garden, live music, outside play area for kids, pool table, juke box, this place has it all

One of the best places around for a fantastic pub meal. Great staff and a great range of beers.

I come here on Tuesday with my partner and her grandad for his 90th birthday..We was made to feel very welcome..staff was more than helpful..food was beautifully cooked and plenty of it..and great price..I would definitely recommend this pub and definitely be coming back here when next up that way

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT AND ALMOST VILLAGE TYPE PUBLIC HOUSE DUE TO ITS VERY LONG HISTORY IN LOWESTOFT AND ITS MANY LONG STANDING REGULARS. SPACIOUS FOR LARGER PARTIES YET STILL INTIMATE FOR THAT QUIET NIGHT OUT WITH A LOVED ONE AND TRUTHFULLY I WOULD PROBABLY HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS HAD I ATE THERE RECENTLY BUT DUE TO THIS IT GETS A BIG HAPPY FOUR FOR ITS GOOD BEERS AND CHOICES OF DRINKS AND ALLROUND FRIENDLINESS,,,KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
