We liked this place better than any other in the area. It feels honest and homely, not over dressed or frilly. Great food and friendly staff. We made it our "local" during our stay in Harrogate. I can definitely recommend the quiche, the ploughman's and the lemon cake. No queuing in the cold either.
Absolutely delicious! Would rather pay into a family run tearoom than Betty’s! Dog friendly, can have afternoon tea without booking which is amazing!
A lovely find in an out of the way location. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the gentle bustle of people passing by. We had an omelette and a panini. I'm raving about the omelette - cheese and mushroom - one of the best that I have ever had. All the food coming out to other tables looks delightful, especially the afternoon tea. I would recommend here wholeheartedly.
Lovely little old world tea room. Nice menu offering a range of food from a simple sandwich to afternoon tea. Lovely, friendly ladies serving in a cosy, charming setting. Outside seating too in courtyard setting in warmer weather.Food: 5/5
This is a true hidden Jem. Jennys tea shop is at the bottom of the Montpellier hill area of Harrogate. We walked up to the very well-known tearooms in Harrogate, but the que outside was 20 deep. So out came google Maps and reviews. Jennys was rated as better than the composition, so off we went to find it . It's worth the hunt to find your way in. Straight to a just vacated table to sit down to the most amazing afternoon tea for two. Which was a little better priced than the other tearoom up the hill. The atmosphere was brilliant, and the staff were simply amazing. This is a special place for those who will not be taken in by the tourist trap to have their wallets emptied. It is small but truly perfectly formed in every way. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
What a delicious homemade lunch we had! Service was great - was really lovely to be served by the owner, Dean. Has a real family feel to the place. Would definitely recommend this gem! P.s yummy omelette!
Off the beaten track, quaint little courtyard. Friendly staff. Great prices and peaceful.Food: 5/5
An amazing little place full of atmosphere and friendly staffFood: 5/5
Lovely visit to this small coffee shop last week - very friendly and attentive service - loved our tuna melt panini's with salad and crisps and creamed and jam scones with coffees. Great alternative to Betty's tea rooms if visiting Harrogate and would deffo recommend xFood: 5/5
I bought a £30 gift voucher over the phone for this cafe. The £30 has been taken out of my account. I was promised an email voucher. This was before Xmas. I have sent emails and left voicemails. I do not have my voucher which was to be a Xmas gift. This is really poor customer service and is potentially fraud . Taking money over the phone / selling a voucher and then not sending it. I do not live locally it was a gift for my niece who does live in Harrogate. Please could you respond and honour tbe voucher .
