Just had a delivery from these and I have to say the customer service is probably the best I've witnessed in long time in Peterborough.  Extremely polite and helpful when placing the order. Nothing was too much trouble. Delivered steaming hot by yet another well mannered man. Chips are banging, curry nice with plenty of meat, samosa banging.

This is by a mile the best tandoori restaurant in Peterborough, everyone said how lovely the food was, delivery was quick and piping hot. Well done we will definitely be recommending you to everyone we know!! Such good value and generous portions!!

The restaurant is now open after a few months of just take away or delivery meals. It was great to see all the familiar faces. I had a lovely meal with two friends and we were not disappointed. Thank you to Jena Restaurant team.

Last week, Tuesday 1st May 2018, my friend and I met up to arrange a forthcoming holiday. We chose Jenas as we have both eaten there on and off over the years and my friend still orders take away. A phone call in advance to book a table wasn’t necessary and we were told just to turn up. We arrived and we told that they were not serving alcohol,possibly no license, which was not an issue as we are not great drinkers anyway. Throughout the evening the restaurant was totally empty barr us, which is a shame considering the number of tables and taking into account that it was such a vibrant place in the past. We ordered our food, starters and main. Despite the fact that the restaurant has obviously had it’s problems in recent years I am delighted to say that the food was really very good, there  was plenty of it and at a very reasonable price. I would award the food 4.5 stars, unfortunately the lack of atmosphere let’s the place down dramatically, which is why I only gave 3 stars,...BUT we did go on a Tuesday, so there’s a good chance it will be better on a weekend? Fingers crossed the owners will be able to turn it round.

All of the food here is fantastic. But they do the best chicken shashlik, and as it's my favourite dish I have tried it in most other restaurants and Jena's is by far the best. Had my favourite shashlik, lamb Byriani, garlic nan. Still the best Indian food in Peterborough.

I do not, on principle, trust Indian restaurants that don't give you the option to adjust the spice level of their dishes. Ones that do are surprisingly difficult to come by in this area, so finding one that actually allowed me to chose how spicy I wanted my Butter Chicken to be on Just Eat was a pleasant surprise. The food arrived approximately 15 minutes early, was clearly freshly cooked and made with good-quality ingredients. If I was asked to find fault with anything, I'd say maybe the Onion Bhajis were a bit very oily, but that didn't stop them from being really, really tasty.

The food is just the best food I have had the delivery service is on time if not early 10 star from me !!Food: 5/5
