Amazing experience again. It's my second time I'm buying knifes in this place and again I'm in love. Their knifes are absolutely gorgeous, quality and precision of workmanship you can feel strength away when you will take knife in your hand. Place look beautiful and you can see from entrance passion and care of every single knife in hole store. And the most important for me is customer service. Guys you are always doing amazing job. Doesn't matter if you are head chef in Michelin star restaurant, sushi master or just someone loving cook home they will find equipment fitting perfect in your hand and what is also important in your pocket. Highly recommended and for sure I will be back.

I bought a bread knife Senzo is fantastic!!!!!!!!! Brilliant experience the staff was welcoming and helpful and wen I pay they ask my email and they understood I’m a chef and they say I will have a discount my face went more happy I never receive any discount without asking!!!!!! I left my knifes at the shop on baker street on monday, they told me to back on Thursday for collect my knifes. When i went they forgot to sharp my knifes and say to me to wait 5 minute  who sharp 3 knifes in 5 minute??!!!! i say to the guys that i will back Saturday to give them more time. When i back to the shop my knifes was still not sharp!!! This is very unprofessional and waste of time!! I suggest to go to Kataba shop! Bit more expensive but very professional!!!!!!

Purchased a chef knife in here.  Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. They were also very patient as we looked at many!!  Highly recommend!  They also do great knife sharpening

I’m a chef and recipe developer and was looking for my first Japanese chef knife. All I knew was that I was looking for a gyuto knife, and so naturally I had many questions about the wide range of knives to choose from. I was advised by Kanako, who was so patient and knowledgeable. She spent more than an hour answering all my questions and she knew the precise origin of every single knife, who made it, information about the company, how it was made, and of course what it is used for. She helped me find the perfect knife and they even adjusted the size of the sheath, so it would fit the leather bag I selected. I can’t recommend the Japanese Knife Company enough for high quality knives and excellent customer service.

I’m here to buy a knife today. At first my friend and I walked, my friend asked for knife sharpening, before even my friend finished his sentence, the employee dismissed my friend immediately with a plain face, and he just stared as us as we we are looking at the knifes, makes us feel really uncomfortable. Straight after that, another employee saw me interested at looking at the knifes, and help me out, and now this employee said he can sharpen my friends knife. This employee knows general stuff, I’m happy with him. But over all the experience was not as good as expected. Said goodbye to them when I leave twice, but no response from them.

A superb showcase of beautifully crafted knives. The layout of the shop is more in line with a museum than a kitchen utility business. Behind each of the glass cupboards lies the range. The Japanese Knife Company offers great value for money utilities through to high-end Japanese treasures. The craftsmanship apparent in some of the pieces is exquisite. The staff are on hand to offer extensive information about each piece. The shop offers excellent services. I had my knife engraved and resharpened there. Very pleased with the results.

I bought a whetstone for knife polishing 3000 and 8000. The person who helped me was patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place!
