Story

Jamie’s Computers is the social enterprise arm of The Society of St James; Southampton’s largest homelessness charity, providing housing, care and support to homeless and vulnerable people.

Jamie's Computers guarantees a professional and secure IT disposal service to businesses and individuals. We refurbish donated computers and make them available for reuse whilst anything that cannot be reused is recycled.

Through our free IT disposal and refurbishment services, Jamie’s is able to provide training and voluntary opportunities to socially excluded adults within the community.

Our data destruction service guarantees that none of your data can be retrieved and that your business is fully compliant.

Jamie's refurbishes and sells a range of PC's and laptops to cater for all of your computing needs.

All of the money that we make from our sales goes towards improving our service.

Great place for recycling IT Hardware. They even take old and/or broken hardware, as they break down into components for recycling. They provide documented data wiping service, They are really helpful. They are also a charity helping with local people. Recommended.

Absolutely amazing. Needed a battery replacing and they went above and beyond to make sure it was sorted. Super friendly staff and clearly very knowledgable. Will definitely be recommending and continuing to use them for any future problems

Lovely and happy staff always helpful and find what you need ! Or better for the same price and all of it towards a amazing cause so definitely worth it. Graphics cards, tower cases, motherboards, monitors and more you want it they have probably got it !!! 5 stars for service, customer care and brilliance.

They sell perfectly good work computers, laptops, tablets and phones for very reasonable prices, that is to say hundreds, not thousands. They may not have the water cooled gaming monster of your dreams, but it will almost certainly work and do the job. Also perfect for those looking for 2nd/3rd computers for kids etc

I went here to get my disabled son a laptop, on a tight budget, they where helpful, understanding and friendly. My son came away with a quality laptop and a huge smile at a great price..thank you : if I could give you 100 stars as a rating I would. Thanks again

Excellent service. Great to see a charity making money from old pc's and laptops. Much cheaper than going to  computer retailers.

Myself and my family have bought many items over the years. Great value and after sales support. We also recycle our old devices here. Hats off for Jamies

Amazing charity to work with. All their PC equipment is properly tested and isn't expensive. I use then all the time for upgrades and replacements.
