We were visiting York following a long drive, when our 'check engine' light came on. Ivinson Autos fit us in on short notice and then diagnosed & repaired the problem. Excellent service and communication throughout the process.  We are very grateful!

I knew this garage in Nextdoor App. Today I booked my service & MoT for my Jazz. Although my first Language is not English. They support good and let me feel comfortable. The price is reasonable and I will keep using it.

Took my car in today as local and had used before with good results. My windscreen wiper had stopped working on drivers side and with the British weather being as it is needed it looking at. I was quoted between £170&£500 for a fix as they said it needed the linkage doing so said yes book me in they had to order the part as not in stock as the car was so new. I took the car home and men being men my husband wanted to look at it. It looked like nobody had even taken a look so went to another local garage who looked at it straight away for me and all it needed was a bolt tightening up then worked perfectly all done in 2 mins with no charge definitely won’t be using Ivinson again

Fantastic Service. I knew exactly what I was getting and how long it was going to be, they gave me a price, they kept me updated and even gave me a vehicle in the mean time whilst I waited. The service carried out on my car was immaculate and all the stamps and paperwork were carried out to a high standard.The went into so much depth that they told me if it required any work before an MOT.  Would highly recommend

I took my car to Ivinsons Autos at Clifton Moor today after 2 recommendations on Nextdoor. I needed an MOT & front brake pads & discs replacing after being told by last years MOT garage that they would need doing. Ivinsons called me after they had inspected the car saying brakes were still good for at least another 6 months! Good to find an honest garage and would recommend them highly

After 6 months of misery with my car and a garage who did not get to the bottom of the fault we suspected the turbo, booked in with Ivinson Auto. We dropped the car off; within 30 minutes their mechanic let me know what the problem was turbo/EGR valve and gave an approximate quote. It was always going to be an expensive fix for this problem, but the car was done within 36 hours at a reasonable price. I was kept informed at all stages and cannot rate them highly enough. Very friendly, very knowledgeable. Fantastic.

I was impressed with the whole experience from the welcoming, knowledgeable receptionist through to rapid, high quality repair. The courtesy car meant there was no disruption to my day. I highly recommend Ivinsons. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
