An excellent company to deal with. Approachable staff who offer a knowledgably and honest opinion. I had a body repair job done on a pearlescent white colour which is notoriously difficult to match, however Automotive Solutions did it perfectly to a high standard.
Unfortunately my wife broke down in her BMW X1with a burst tyre which left her stuck in the road waiting for the AA to turn up, fortunately Paul was passing and kindly took the time to stop and help her, he had a quick look and told that the front coil spring had snapped and punctured her tyre, he then moved the car to safety for her, Paul told her who he was and that, if she wanted, the AA could recover her car to his garage for repairs, this offer was taken up and we were not disappointed with the help and service provided, Paul and his team replaced the broken spring and tyre and following a phone conversation changed the other front spring which proved badly corroded, the speed of the repairs and return of the car was highly impressive and my wife was back on the road within 24 hrs. Moving forward we will be using Automotive Solutions for all of our service requirements, Thank You Paul for being the Knight in Shining Armour and helping my wife when other just drove round her giving abuse.
We’ve been using Automotive Solutions for the past 2 or 3 years and they’re excellent. Always honest and straightforward advice. Much easier and smoother and quicker than dealing with the main dealers. Will continue to recommend to friends and colleagues.

Car failed mot for 2 broken springs, Automotive Solutions started to dismantle to replace the springs and found there was nothing wrong with them. Called in mot inspector who agreed and passed the car. This repair could have been hundreds of pounds but they were honest enough to challenge it and not charge me for work. I really appreciate their honesty and integrity in not carrying out unnecessary work. Thanks Simon and team
I cannot speak highly enough about Automotive Solutions, they recently fixed a scuff on the front bumper of my silver Golf mk 7. 5 the quality of the repair was such that it was impossible to tell it was ever damaged. Furthermore unlike many garages they are lovely folk to deal with. Simon is fantastic and went out of his way to be helpful. Many Franchised dealerships could be completely schooled by Automotive Solutions, they are magnificent!
Went with my x6 there recommended by fulford mot centre. Took 2 weeks to fix it. Went to pick it up, paid £877, drove off, 2 minutes later same problem. Took the owner for a road test. Car stops. We could barely drive it back to garage. 1 week later they said it’s ready. Again. Went to pick it up. £860 on top of what I’ve already paid. Explanation: they tried to save me some money first time. Absolutely outrageous! Avoid!
Started using Automotive Solutions 2 years ago and pleased I did. Great quality and service. I always feel well looked after from Paul and his team who demonstrate the principle of 'customer comes first' Quite a contrast to main dealers and at prices up to 50% less.
