Wow - what fantastic service. I went into Stoneacre York on Monday to buy a new car, and Natalie Major was fantastic and got me a really good deal. She said she hoped she would be able to get me the car by Sunday or Monday. 
However, she contacted me yesterday to say I could collect it this afternoon. I cannot praise Natalie highly enough, as she came to collect me as well. After the paperwork, and the meeting with Steve in finance- who was also really helpful, we had the big reveal. Natalie made it really special, and here is Natalie and I with my fab new car.
This is the 3rd car I have bought from Natalie, and she outdoes herself every time, with the car getting better and better. I did ask how she is going to improve it next time? 😉
Massive thanks to Natalie, Steve and the guys at Soneacre York for making my Fiesta ready in just 4 days. Sarah

Please note , this review does not  relate to a purchase or service from Stoneacre
The  reviews are interesting and useful as I am considering a purchase from Stoneacre. All experiences  seem to be  rated  as either  4 or 5 stars or 1 star -   During the last 5 days , I have made two phone calls and sent one email and  received  prompt  repays from  both means of correspondence .

Went here in 2015 due to a fault with the bonnet lock on my focus, which wouldn't open. Tried to contact someone in regards to the problem over the phone but just got an automated message to book an appointment. Was told at the front desk by a member of staff (not a mechanic) that the problem would be fixed and was given a price.

I was then phoned that day to be informed that there would be additional costs to fix the problem (it was a lot of money) as only a diagnostic (health check) of the whole car had been done, which I hadn't asked for, nor was it noted in the forms I signed when dropping off the car.

Because the cost to fix the bonnet was so extortionate, and I didn't want to continue, but apparently I had to still pay £54.90 for the health check (which I didn't sign nor ask for). I asked for a copy of the document I signed prior to leaving the car there, which they refused (as this copy had no mention of the health check). The invoice they gave me at the end did have the "health check" noted on the form.

Afterwards I went to Lawtons of Tadcaster, whom diagnosed the problem (over the phone and confirmed in person when I arrived) before leaving the car with them and gave me an actual cost before work was to begin. The cost of the work (including labour) was also half the price than at Stoneacre.

Basically I do not recommend. If a mechanic had come out to look at the car before it had been dropped off, like any other garage would do, then this problem may have been averted.

A big thank you to the service department at york ,they have sorted out problems that the garage I bought the car from couldn't they keep you informed on progress of the work and even managed to do a short notice MOT for us ,great service well done

I have never experienced such a bad service. I bought a car in stoneacre one year ago. The salesman once told me that I had a warranty for three years. But when I called today, they told me I have to “wait for a long time” for fix my car. But If I pay 89 pounds, I can fix it right away. So what's the use of my warranty? Really shameless
