Fantastic gym, been training Brazilian jiu-jitsu with Pete for over a year now, after starting with no experience in any martial art at all. Everyone made me feel welcome from the start. Such a great atmosphere, with excellent coaching.

I have been training under Pete for almost two years now. His encyclopaedic knowledge of martial arts means that there is constantly something to learn and that it is taught at the highest level. Combined with the friendliness of the training partners and the comradery of the team means that is the best place to train BJJ or MMA in the north. Can't recommend it highly enough to anyone who is or ever has been interested in training combat sports.

I'm Brazilian and I trained in this academic for while when I was in England so I can say that there you can learn a real and really good Brazilian jiu jitsu, and also a really good mma and great Environment
