Amazing experience. Giant selection of whisky, and the bartenders were very helpful. Place was packed, but they still took the time to listen to what flavors of whisky we liked spicy and fruity and made selections for us. Tiny place, and I wish I was there right now.Service: 5/5
Took my son here on a recent visit to Glasgow. I have been a fair few times now. He's never been so flew over to meet me for a couple of days. He absolutely loved it. Not a whisky drinker, although did try a small one but had some great Guinness! This place never ceases to amaze me. Super friendly knowledgeable staff. We were told there is around 1000 bottles on the go! So much to look at! You meet some great interesting people too.
This place lived up to the hype. It's busy, but the bartenders are still lovely and happy to share recommendations for a whisky you may like. Sadly, I missed the meat pies each time I tried, but the atmosphere and service and drams were great!Service: 5/5
This takes the cake for the best bar I’ve ever been to. They had what is approximated at 1100 bottles of whiskey from around the world. The staff are incredibly friendly and will help you discover what whiskeys are best for you. Local crowd also very friendly and happy to chat.Service: 5/5
Very atmospheric whisky bar / pub with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. We went looking for new whiskies with not much knowledge, but the staff was great to listen at what we like and recommend good options. The pub was full on a Saturday night, but people overall were friendly and interesting. Great place to be.Food: 5/5
'The Pot Still' is a very classical whisky bar in Glasgow. The whisky variety is wide, you can really try many different options and you can get some advice from the waiters. Rather central, it is filled both by tourists and by locals. Not much food is available apart from pies which are by the way very good!. Reservations are possible for private parties. Definitely advised if you are in the area.
Classic pub a MUST DO They hold an impressive collection of Scotch. If you’re not that familiar with whisky like me the service will gently help tou and suggest something that fits your taste. The prices are very convenient compared to other pubs in Scotland or in the UK; I paid £3,4 for my drink.
Excellent pub in Glasgow. Said to have 1000 different types of whiskey! They also got food. I tried haggis pie with beans, which was good. Detailed interior, very good looking place with a lot of story.
Great night in the pot still. Friendly helpful staff. Good choice of whisky. But it's the atmosphere and the other patrons that made the night. My advice is rather than spend 10 minutes just starting at the whisky trying to pick one like I did ask the staff to help even if you're an experienced whisky drinker. They will pick stuff out that you can't see.
The best whiskey tasting that I’ve ever had. Bartenders here are knowledgeable and they can recommend you the choice of tasting that you’d prefer. I highly recommend this pub for whiskey experienceFood: 5/5
