WARNING!!! I was a regular custom of theirs, and for once I bought a faulty mouse, so I simply asked for an exchange, which they absolutely hated and done everything in their powers to prevent it. They challenged me and interrogated me about a simple exchange, by trying to make it extremely unnecessarily difficult and stressful for me. So I asked ebay to step in and they helped me get a refund, which the seller should have done or exchanged without any hesitation at all. So I appropriately left very negative feedback on eBay, to warn others of the terrible experience, which they hated also, cause they was still arguing with me, and then they had the extreme audacity/unprofessionalism/insult and disrespect by saying I’m not important enough cause I only buy cheap things, which I can 100% prove to anyone that wants a copy, but that’s all I could afford. That is absolutely disgusting, vile and shocking behaviour from a company and I reported them to eBay. Its the worst company I’ve ever come across and I’ve dealt with hundreds. I will never ever use them again and please… WARNING!!!
AVOID. I requested Cougar Computers look at a laptop with a non-displaying screen, with full tech specifications of the fault I am IT support-trained myself, and the probable cause. Three weeks of silence, despite regular contact by myself emails were ignored, and phone calls met by 'Howard's not in today', until I was informed the fault was 'probably' something I knew it couldn't possibly be. I pointed this out, and politely questioned the diagnosis; two days later the laptop was 'available for collection', no fix and no fee as they 'couldn't establish what the fault was'. The laptop, I suspect, has never even been looked at. THREE WEEKS this process took - I was assured initially that it would be looked at within a day or so to establish the fault and let me know cost to repair. Do NOT recommend for any kind of repair service. eta - 'a high maintenance customer' is one who expects a response when promised? Okay. Further to the response below, I took the same laptop elsewhere - they agreed with my diagnosis, fixed the issue, and had the laptop back to me within a week
The service I received here is second to none. Howard was very responsive to my E-mails and recommended sensible cost effective solutions to my problematic PC. I'd highly recommend these guys and I will not hesitate to return.
Phoned and explained the problem with my laptop at 11.30, by 3.30 the same day I had delivered it in a Covid secure way, and by 5pm the problem was sorted and I was collecting it with a very minimal bill. Super service!
