Cafe/Restaurant with an American vibe. We had breakfast this time. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cool. Minor gripes with the food, pancakes were dry and came with barely any syrup. When I asked for some, a paltry amount was given. Wouldn't recommend for breakfast, but when I came for dinner it was better.
We had a great time on Saturday afternoon. The service was fab, the waitress was really friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the pancakes, which were really yummy, and my husband had the nachos, and fries. The nachos were really good! Will be back again - Thank you!
American style restaurant. Place is quite big but for some strange reasons waitress sat all the customers in one corner. So when you having a conversation with a person you came to eat you can be sure that strangers who sits next to you will know every detail of your conversation. Personal space doesn't exist but who knows.. that might be an American thing Food was good.. nice big portions and if you love munching on French fries you won't leave disappointed.. even coctails were overflowing from the glasses... Then when it comes to getting a bill.. you will need to be patient and ask for a bill several times as staff is kind of forgetful
The setting of the restaurant reminded me of a 1980s diner. The staff that seated us was kind and helpful, informing us of the specials they were offering for the day. The music choice serenaded the customers as they ate; it was low, undisturbing and nostalgic. Beside the bar there hung a TV that played a muted Home Alone 2. Bringing on the coming festive month ahead. I ordered the Quorn burger with curly fries, thankfully the prices were not expensive. However, the prices for the canned drinks were questionable. E.g £2.50 for a can of Dr. Pepper Unfortunately, the waitress misheard me and accidentally ordered a chicken burger. You can imagine my shock when the dish was brought to my table. Despite the confusion they changed my order with ease, along with an apology from the waitress that made the mistake. The food was very filling and curly fries made the dish even better! The toilets are located downstairs, while walking down the steep staircase you'll find yourself admiring the art painted in the wall. There are if I remember 6 cubicles, each one containing a sink and blow dryer.
Been here twice now. The staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The restaurant is so spacious and the decor is great. The food is pretty standard but I feel they could do so much more to make the food better. The milk shakes, however, are amazing! Perfect place for families.
Very quiet for a Friday night near Christmas which I wasn't expecting. Oreo milkshake comes highly recommended. The burgers are to die for, really recommend if you are in Manchester. Staff are very friendly and the decor is good.
Very typical British American style diner. Menu has good variety and not to badly priced. Foods good and freshly prepared. Lost stars for tardy service but don't let that put you off. I'm a stickler for good service
Put only three stars because we were a group of 6 and some of us liked it and others didn't. Food was a hit or miss. Staff was friendly. It's a nice place but you wouldn't want to expect something exceptional.
The milkshakes and traditional american diner style here are amazing. the food is good but it's all let down by slow service
The place has a nice modern day take on a 50's diner, there is lots of booth style seating but there can be a wait as its very popular, we took my daughter for her 4th birthday and she got her food served in a car container although it looked fab it was very greasy so she didn't eat it which was disappointing, all adults had burgers which were lovely but once again very greasy chips, I think the prices are quite reasonable for the city center but food isn't the best
