There could not be a more wonderful place to spend time, nor more wonderful people to share their home. Their thoughtful hospitality paid the finest attention to detail. We received welcoming tea, cozy fires, and abundant amenities in our peaceful room/bath. The fascinating history of an ecologically thoughtful homestead made our stay so memorable that we only wish we could stay longer.

Recommended for anyone who appreciates the preservation of history, a peaceful bucolic setting, a proper Scottish breakfast, and/or a great intellectual conversation. Between this enchanting castle and its brilliant owners, you will receive each of these to your satisfaction. I really can't say enough to recommend this place - a highlight of our recent trip to Scotland, somewhere I am raving about to all my friends, and somewhere I hope to visit again.
