Well what can I say ,I don't trust anyone with my hair until I was recommended by a friend Icon hairdressers. From the moment I walked in till the moment I left I felt welcomed , My hairdressers Nataleigh was absolutely amazing and listened to absolutely everything I asked for and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at ease , my hair has never felt so good it looks healthy and feels amazing . Brilliant! I was looking for a new salon that felt independent, yet not overly pretentious or overpriced. Icon was just that. Andrew dedicated a generous amount of time advising on a style which worked with my thinning hair and how best to care for it's condition. The cut, which included a relaxing wash, was very thorough. I was offered a refreshment and the chat was first class, great tunes too! Fantastic all round.
Really friendly staff. Great atmospheric salon to have a nice relaxing time to yourself and get our hair done. I've gone to so many salons around Kingston and Surbiton but never satisfied because the 'stylists' were never able to cut my short hair right. At Icon Andrew know exactly how to cut my hair after initial consultation. I think I've found my salon. If you're NHS staff you get a discount as well.
Very happy with the service, I would definitely recommend. Great professionalism, great atmosphere, very reasonably priced, good advice. I have been looking for a great hair salon for a long time and I am so happy to have found it at last!
Icon Hairdressing supports Trophy Hunting as they have stuffed dead animals on the wall. They also do not serve plant milk. Makes sense given they support Trophy Hunting.

Everything is great, I just found the price a bit steep but maybe that’s just me. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and someone took my coat. My hairdresser arrived within 2 minutes to guide me to the chair. I had a brief consultation on what I wanted done cut and blow dry then I was taken for shampoo. My hair was shampooed twice then conditioned and I was given a head massage while the conditioner was doing it’s thing. My hair was cut beautifully and I am grateful my hairdresser advised me to wait until it was dry to see if I wanted to layer it further because it turned out I didn’t. Then the blow dry was exactly was I wanted with the help of hair straighteners to give me some waves. My hairdresser was friendly and chatty when I was entertaining the conversation, quiet when I wasn’t. So really intuitive and lovely all around. The whole thing took 1 hour and I am very y happy with the result. I paid £28 because I am a first time customer so I am very very happy with everything but I would not pay £56 for a cut and a blow dry. I simply have other priorities than my hair. But if you don’t mind the price, I would strongly recommend you go there because they are professional, friendly and extremely skilled!
