Very tranquil and makes you happy to be close to; birds, trees, ducks and common carp. The staff are hardly in due to underfunding. Beautiful log cabins with comfortable furniture. Cabins are cleaned as soon as you leave and are spotless. Shower head and shower need improving. Beautiful scenery and self catering in cabin for those on a budget or like to cook. Needs a service where you can hire: tea towels, duvets and bathroom towels. There is a laundrette in Warminster to, do your laundry and it is an 1/2 hour walk or a 15-20 minute drive. Metal kitchen utensils need to be replaced with plastic ones to save money on pans and keep the pans from getting scratched. The fact you can hire out the lake for a week whilst there or just go for a day with £5:00 is good. Remember to go to the post office. It is £12 for a week fishing license and about £5:00 for a day. Morrisons is the nearest supermarket down the road and is a 10-15 minute drive or a 25 minute walk.

Lovely hospitality. Pop in at the end of a bike ride and even covered in mud they make us welcome😊

Ok for whatvit is. A little dated and rough. Cleaned but only the basics, move furniture and domestic items around for a mild shock.
