Despite it being a wet and cold Easter weekend, Bison Farm was welcoming. The pitches are large, the owners friendly and the facilities clean. We would go back again, but hopefully when it’s warmer and sunnier!

Fantastic campsite in the woods with enough space to feel uncrowded and safe. Brilliant spot for family camping. Simple washing facilities and a fantastic shop full of farm fresh produce including bacon from their pigs which is delectable over the open fire.

My four year old son and I camped for 1 night. It was a beautiful spring day and the wooded camp area was alive with life and bluebells. We made use of the half price farm entrance and as it's closed to the public during the week we had the place to ourselves. My son really enjoyed the animals and we sat and watched a new born bison from the viewing stand. After seeing all the animals we wandered through the woods and fields and took in the views across the surrounding countryside. In the evening we made use of the small play park area before we lit the campfire. We have both had a fantastic time.

I remember visiting this place as a child on one of their special events and it was brilliant, they had tee-pees and barbecues cooking bison burger and a trailer that took us around the park that gave us a better view of the bison. Visited again recently during a weekday for a nice leisurely stroll, the woods are beautiful and quirky and there are some lovely goats and other animals around the farm. There's also a small museum that shows off the many American Indian artefacts they own, but the place could do with being dusted, there were a lot of cobwebs in there! There's a quaint gift shop with some unique items on offer. Makes a nice little walk 😊

Camping here for the Wilderness Gathering. Which is an amazing experience for the whole family. Able to experience flint napping, axe throwing and 101 other activities.
