Stayed on site for 1 week, lovely pub with excellent food , Sunday carvary was beautiful. Drinks a little pricey but good. Basic carpark camping with 2 portacabin type toilets available and a shower spotlessly clean the site area was very dark and could do with better lighting, the electric run on a meter so works out quite expensive for a week. Advertised an onsite butchers shop but there wasn't one. Easy short drive to Tewkesbury and other local villages. Grassed areas were very wet but there had been some storms. Dogs welcome but no where to really walk them.
Excellent food & camping facilities. Grass & hardstanding electric & non electric pitches, clean toilets, showers & easy access facilities. Well maintained & quiet site, can't wait to return and try the Sunday carvery
Well have to say is a nice place easy to get to and plenty of parking.. But I had never been here before and I won't be going again, was going to eat here but didn't in the end, it wasn't busy but not surprised, the atmosphere was a put off, the older man serving was so unwelcoming and rude not just to us but to his staff, Would never recommend, It's set just off the road at Longdon which is on the way to Upton Upon Severn of which there are nicer places there to visit and eat and drink, even on the way is a pub called The Drum and Monkey.
My Daughter’s name is attached to our email, but just wanted to say that as a couple Jon and Corrie-Ann, with our son,, Connor, this campsite is beautiful. We spent 2 nights here in August and it was lovely. The atmosphere was amazing and the food in the pub was second to none. Highly recommend. Got to met a lovely Welsh couple with there Grandkids, who our child loved playing with, which was great.
We had booked a camping pitch which is managed by the pub, and decided to eat there as well. Food was excellent, and value for money, staff helpful and friendly. To eat you really need to book as it's very popular with the locals. Camping pitch was good, electric and water available. Only reason for four stars, storm Denis.
Wow and Wow again! What a lovely family run establishment, who came to our rescue yesterday afternoon having been let down by a Motorhome stopover further down the road. We really landed on our feet or four wheels! not only were we offered a spot on the car park free of charge, we were also offered hook up to electricity at a reasonable cost. We ate in the pub which we always do out of courtesy and convenience if being offered an overnight spot, free of charge on the car park The meal was superb fish and chips and mushroom stroganoff both delicious, for dessert we had sticky toffee pudding and crème brûlée, the whole meal was beautifully presented and piping hot…faultless. The drinks were also reasonably priced. We had a wonderful stopover made so much better by the really friendly owners and staff, we will definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend the pub to any fellow Motorhomer’s!
Sunday Lunch at the Hunters is highly recommended. We arrived at 1430 hrs and there was a great selection of food on the Carvery. Also some good options if you don’t like Carvery. Parking: Plenty of room on a busy Sunday.

Had Sunday lunch carvery last weekend and can only say everything was superb. Even though it's a long drive from home in Wales, it was so good that we'll be back.Food: 5/5
