Had an evening meal here as well as breakfast , staff very friendly and welcoming , food was very nice although more choice would have been good as the menu was limited and they were also out of a lot of items . Breakfast was excellent , freshly made hot buffet was really nice
Good breakfast, lots of options including continental. Quick service, polite staff. Clean and comfortable environment. Only one problem. One family asked for a "takeaway bag" which a member of staff agreed to. The family then quietly filled it with pastries, yogurts and fruit. Although this was good customer service and a considerate thing to do, they've just got a free lunch! Customers coming in after may not have had as much of a choice because of their cheek. Shall we all ask for a doggy bag and fill up next time?!
This was our first ever visit to a Brewers Fayre. We picked it as It was a good location to meet up with a couple of friends for lunch. We ordered 2 x Beef and Ale Pies, a Veggie Burger and a Chicken Curry they had run out of the Sweet Potato Curry. All of us were satisfied with our meals. My partner and I were staying at the Premier Inn so we ended up having Dinner and Breakfast at the Elmbury Lodge. For dinner we had the Smothered Platter x 2. I was not that keen on the Steak my partner really liked hers and my partner didn't really like the Buttered Chicken Goujons I thought they were really nice. They had run out of Caramel Apple Betty for dessert so we ordered a Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Jam Roll Poly, both with Ice Cream. The desserts were very nice, however they gave us the smallest scoop of ice cream I have ever been given. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. Main issue was I had to send back the Veggie Sausages as they didn't look cooked, far too pale. All the staff during our three visits were very friendly and polite. We won't be rushing back to a Brewers Fayre, however if it is convenient to our travels we would eat there again.
We had a lovely lady who served us through our visit, 18/3/23. We visited Tewkesbury for my mom's 60th birthday, staff memeber she was so lovely, polite friendly, and even arranged a free bubble of bubbly off the team for my mom. Sorry didn't get her name but gratitude and praise to her for being a positive member of your team .thank you for making me mom's day that extra special
Staff friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were a party 10 every body was happy with there meals. Me and my wife had the mix grill which we enjoyed. But we both thought the gammon was the only let down of it. The chicken, steak, sausages, tomato, eggs, onion rings and chips were very nice. Not really much of a selection for dessert, but what we had was very nice. We would go back again.
Fine for a quick meal. It was a bit cold in the restaurant and the grills were off the menu. The service was fairly quick. The toilets at one end of the restaurant were all out of order again and the signs regarding parking were not yet in use causing me some confusion. Litter in the car park wasn't a good advert. The place looks to be poorly managed. The staff who served me, though, were sound. Will I go again? Probably not. Sorry.
Not bad for the price was clean nice food loverly beer Food: 5/5
Went for breakfast with Santa. Hot food was unfortunately cool. Needed to eat with coats on as was quite cold inside. Granddaughter did enjoy the pay area and Santa was the best we have seen. Also enjoyed the continental part of the breakfastFood: 4/5
We visited today with my sister who came from abroad for my daughter's baptism. We chose this place because it has soft play. I have to say this is the worst place I have ever been to. They did not have most of the meals from menu. We waited over 45 mins for 1 starter and then another hour for mains. All the food came nearly cold. We asked for refund. The lady behind the bar was kind and apologized but still...we waisted our evening here which we were all very disappointed about.
Awful service! The family pre booked a large party for the festive menu starters came out except the children's which we had to chase up Main course some had the festive carvery and others had the burger which was cold and served with the most oily cold mushy roast potato's I've ever had all of our party that had carvery were refused Yorkshire pudding and pigs in blankets! Causing me to complain to management......Then we had to wait over an hour for our desserts!! No offer of a discount or even an apology!!!! Disgusting service!!
