I'd give this place 6 stars if I could! We aren't from the area, but the sun came out and we suddenly had a craving to sit outdoors somewhere in the sunshine with a cold beer and a charcuterie board. We found this place and thought we'd give it a try. This mountain of food, a large wine and a pint was under £30! Absolutely terrific value! The place itself is eclectically decorated, spacious and has two separate outdoor seating areas. Inside is lovely too, in case you aren't as lucky with the weather as we were. Definitely check it out if you are passing through.
Visited here tonight for an early evening drink, very impressed with everything this pub has to offer! We were greeted with two very polite barmen, what a great start, we ordered drinks that were served to perfection the bass ale was perfect, sat out in the outstanding beer garden that is obviously a labour of love, cannot say the last time we felt so welcomed and had a very enjoyable time within a pub!! The beautiful beer garden creates a great sense of belonging and a calming feel, everything was clean and tidy,, so glad we tried this venue and we will definitely be back! Parking: Perfect
Not much to add that hasn't been already mentioned. What does set this pub apart is the very friendly service both by the staff and the management. The pub loves Halloween and Christmas fancy dress! Wonderfully decorated and great range of drinks. The cheeseboards are something else. Enjoy. MFood: 5/5
A lovely pub, with a wide selection of drinks and a delicious Hunter's chacuterie. Amazing value for the money, and delicious. They have a fantastic beer garden and seats in a nice little garden area. The pub is cozy and the staff are friendly and efficient. Not from the area but saving the location for future visits. Parking: They have their own lot with lots of space.
OK have driven past this place over many years and never have been. Great beer is served and amazing bar staff . Will be back. Thanks for Daren and Jo taking us there.

Lovely welcoming well above average pub with lovely staff . Very welcoming and very well looked after by the staff. Had a amazing cheeseboard and tacos etc between friends and great choice of drinks and they made Gin and tonics look very special! They have made a great place!! Thanks
Had a great time here. A few changes since last time I was here. The outside seating areas are brilliant with plants and hanging baskets a plenty. Good range of ales and also tried the Sangria cocktails.......excellent.
Nobody does a party like The Hunters does a party and the New Year’s Celebration didn’t disappoint. Amazing atmosphere and wonderful company. The staff are always helpful , enthusiastic and friendly. Paula and Mark are wonderful hosts. Thank you for making the end of 2023 and beginning of 2024 so much fun.
