Excellent service from start to finish. Rose and Dave very helpful would definitely recommend as my oven came in less than a week they estimated 4 weeks and found the oven i wanted. The fitting was excellent as well. Could not fault will definitely be returning if I need anything else. Thank you so much. Lisa
A nice store but when we asked about a product the service was poor as the salesperson said she could not remember and had to get out her notes. This was fine until she took out of her pocket crumbled bits of paper. This did not look professional and would suggest a nice notebook as I also have trouble with remembering things.
Poor customer service from Hughes staff, waiting 15 minutes at front desk no communication from staff who can obviously see me with a big box in my hands. I eventually walked over to a very grumpy looking member of Hughes staff who didn't have much interest in helping me drop off my parcel. I decided to take my parcel to a different drop off location at ASDA with no such issues. Makes me wonder how helpful Hughes staff would be if your electrical items purchased from them were faulty? All customers are important Hughes!
Staff are knowledgable & courteous. Not pushy at all, as many others have noted. Reasonably good range of affordable but reliable home appliances. Delivery is notified and a 2 hour delivery window is provided. My rating is on account of the great headache, mental stress and hassle I suffered because the deliverers/installers refused to install the waahing machine in my rental because they said they weren't allowed to attach to the fittings present. The previous resident had an upmarket washing machine in the same place. After this fiasco, Hughes should've contacted me to a offer an alternative workman to get my machine fitted b refund me what I had paid for installation. They did neither. I was completely new to the place. It took 5 days of frantic worrying and desperate calls to other appliance shops to get it sorted. I rang next day to ask for a refund: there was a lovely lady at the other end who processed my refund and helpfully gave me a plumber's contact. It cost me £36 extra. And I had a machine sitting uselessly in the middle of the kitchen for a week. So, if you're a handyman yourself, do patronize. If not, you're probably better off with ReddiSpares or J.Lewis
First time ever been into Hughes Redditch was very surprised and pleased with choice of products on display, will definitely be back to buy new oven and fridge freezer in the near future the lady that I spoke to was Rose and she was absolutely brilliant ... Happy new year to everyone..
Friendly and helpful service from the staff. Wendy was great at her job. It was nice to be approached as a valued customer not a target for "up-selling"
We were looking for a washing machine, I always prefer face to face rather than online, customer service was second too none, Rose the sales assistant was excellent, what she doesn't know about washing machines you could write on the piece of confetti, will definitely use again.
